I just purchased this little ZZ Plant, and when I got it home, I noticed two individual leaves buried in the soil. I am guessing this is for propagation, but I don’t know what to expect going forward.

I ordered these for my mom a while back. Still in their original pots/medium. The two larger ones have been prolifically in bloom for months (handlebar mustache is a balancing act to keep it from tipping under the weight of its blooms). She keeps begging me to take them before she kills them. I keep telling her to just water sparingly and let them thrive in her neglect 😅

#TheWateringHole Good afternoon and Happy Saturday! It was a hellacious week at work, but today I’ve enjoyed tending plants, bird feeders, birdbath, hummingbird feeder, and a good walk around the neighborhood. When I got back from my walk, I snapped a few pics of our outdoor blooms. The flowering pots were bought last Sunday at Walmart and Home Depot so we can’t take any credit for those. God has provided plenty of water so we haven’t had to bother with that. I had to run out to Walmart from work on Monday to pick up something for a patient. I took a swing through the garden center to see if the pothos I had eyed the previous week was still there. I had been suffering from “will power remorse”. It was still there and still the only one of that particular one they had. Meet Albert, my Albo Pothos. Now, I really have to start excercising some will power!! Have any of you had experience with soilless substrate (PON), I was thinking about repotting most of not all my plants into this?? I know you have to monitor the H2O closely and you need to fertilize more often, but have not used it before.

Life is a beautiful wonderful aspect of the world environment of life. I may be having difficulty among difficult times in my life, yet you have to learn to live with the best that you can get for yourself, and by all means don’t leave any tracks behind. Hello wonderful plant people. It was a beautiful Saturday. Here is a before and after of my lithop plant. This is the one that I thought was dying from overwatering. It was simplely shedding.
