About Red Hot Poker Aloe
Many people are familiar with Aloe vera, but this genus of plants contains tons of other beautiful succulent plants that come in all sorts of colors! Their succulent leaves evolved to store water in dry climates, which makes them a perfect fit if you're a busy plant parent. With great care (and a lot of sunlight) you may even see your Aloe bloom! Their flowers grow out of a large spike and can be shades of red, orange, and yellow. 🔥

How to fertilize Red Hot Poker Aloe
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Red Hot Poker Aloe after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Repot Broad Leaved Aloe #BroadLeavedAloe Before Anything it’s been stretched out horizontally like that for a while from a past spot it was in. So, it seems like he probably needs a good up potting. And that’s definitely where I’m thinking even tho it’s hard to tell cus it’s horizontal 🤦♀️😂. My wild one. But the length of the plant is like twice the pot size so to me that usually means bigger pot. Anyway, main point, and I know this is probably pretty unordinary, so a lot of people prob won’t know what to say, but how the h*** am I supposed to repot this and also now it has to hang off any pot cus there’s literally leaves (*forget what they’re called with succulents) in every direction. Fr. Doesn’t seem possible but… There’s the pictures. Some leaves burnt off so I had to take them off that’s why there’s a ‘stem’. Lol, idk what to do with this guy. He needs new soil too but problem mostly is the pot 😂😂😂 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #PlantCorner #WeirdPlants #PlantLove

I just wanted to brag a bit on behalf of my aloe plant. He really is “The Little Plant That Could”. I purchased him as a mature plant 2 years ago. 1.5 years ago, my parents 1 year old Great Pyrenees puppy destroyed him to the point I really thought he went to plant Heaven. I put what was left back in the pot and put him in the dark laundry room. (It was winter. I’m in Northern Indiana. That room gets quite cold.) After a few weeks, I noticed growth! Forward to today, and look how happy he is. I should probably transplant some of the babies though. I just had share. 🥰🤩🌱🐶 #AloeVera #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #SucculentLove #PetsAndPlants

Hey everyone! Hey guys!! I'm wondering how big my aloe plant can get and how long it would take. I just got this little guy from Walmart and this is my first time taking care of one, cna you give me a schedule? I also have this star plant. Greg says it's a succulent so I might keep it on my routine. 6 hours of daylight and I will water it 1 time every 2 weeks.
