Ideas to spruce up my new Cascara Sagrada bonsai's home

Yesterday, I went outside and found this cute little sapling. I decided to pot it to keep it as a bonsai.

I am wondering, how should I make its home look more 'natural' and 'fun'? What I mean is that it looks a bit bland and unnatural.

There is moss that I put on the soil to look like miniature grass. I think I see a blade of grass growing on it, but I'll leave it for now. I'll pluck it out once it grows too big.

All answers are appreciated! You don't have to own a bonsai to answer.

What a lovely plant! I hope growing it as a bonsai goes well 😊 To make it’s container look more β€œnatural” i do think the moss is a great choice, very cute. You could add some very small pebbles if you want to? Whether shaping a tiny path with them or scattering them to look more natural, it could be worth a try if you’re looking to spruce it up πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I do think just simply the moss is great too, the way it looks like tiny grass!
I never tried bonsai, always wanted too. Cute little fellow!
@NoblyPyrethrum Bonsai are neat. It's like being a giant that is raising a mature tree.
@cereal great one! I found some pea gravel pieces that I used as stepping-stones to make a path
@Catplantaddict Aww it looks lovely! Like a little walking trail in a tiny forest! I’m glad you liked my suggestion 😁
