@Preciousplants1 oh beautiful Sherri!! What kind of storm are you facing? 🌩️🌪️⛈️Do you have any tomato cages you could put around them, that sink into the ground? I hope you have a blessed day too and the storm loses all its gusto 🤞♥️
@Preciousplants1 I’m still learning my way around cacti, but my guess is that it might be a developing offshoot. If not an offshoot, my next guess would be a bloom forming. Hopefully, one of our resident cacti experts will answer.
@RefinedSandwort thank you Joy, oh it’s a Cati? Hum had no idea the difference, 👍🏽my thought was maybe a flower. I saw is for $6 dollars and it was so cute I couldn’t resist. Hopefully they are blooms I just saw another one on the other side. 🙏🏽

Hi Sherri! I hope you’re surviving these storms- I’m a few hours south of you and we’re getting them too. That’s a beautiful Hedgehog! That is the start of a flower. I have a lot of cacti (20-25? lol) and I love it when they flower because they’re all different! Send photos when you have flowers! Stay safe 🌸💕
@Preciousplants1 It's more likely a fruit then a bloom because of the pinkness you can flash your flashlight at it to tell look up on cactus fruit and flowers to tell the difference.
