OMG!! They are rooting!! I never done this before, can someone help guide me? I want to make a plant and give it to my cousin.. and I forgot which leaves these little ones are from! I'll see once they grow up. I never watered them because someone told me not to do I left it be. When should I water them and change them into a bigger pot? Yay!! Congratulations @izzyandsugar 🙌 🥳 Now, I’m no succulent expert, but I have had success in just leaving it be for now. Soon you’ll get a baby plant growing, and these mother leaves will be able to provide all the water and nutrients that they need while they get established. I’ve potted mine up (or left them in pots, if they’re the right size) once the mother leaf is all withered and dried out, and the baby plant is bigger (like an inch) has a good amount of roots going 🥰 you can’t really see in my pic, but that’ first one is a baby jade plant from a jade leaf)
It’s pretty straightforward, leave them exactly how they are, give them high light, and the roots will soon start growing downward into the soil (they can sense where the soil and water is) and it will start growing plant tissue upward. You don’t really have to water them at that stage unless they start to wrinkle before the roots grow down into the soil, mine seemed to just replenish their water from whatever small amount was evaporating from the soil they were initially sitting on.
These have been growing since last year. Admittedly, I neglect the expletive out of them and they might grow faster if I did something like water them more often (can’t do it too much though bc they can rot) or give them more soil to support deeper roots, but I also think they’re adorable as little rosettes that just hang out there being cute.

@smushface would the leaf ever die? These have been sitting for like months now and I was very surprised when my green leaf still wasn't shriveled up and dead!
