Happy #GregGivesBack fourth birthday giveaway!

Why do most of my posts start out with β€œBetter Late Than Never”?! πŸ˜†

Without further ado, πŸŽ‰HAPPY BIRTHDAY #GregGivesBack! It is our FOURTH #GregGivesBackBirthday #Giveaway for our birthday week! What a great #FreshLeafFriday! 🎁 We plant (πŸͺ΄) on having a WEEK of winners and we're close to the end of the week -- so check back each day! We will announce all winners on Monday, November 20! πŸ₯³

This giveaway is all about #OutdoorPlants!! How about showing some #OutdoorGrowing that you're doing. For some of us it is the beginning of the growing season and for others it is the end. What do your outdoor plants look like right now? Or, if they are inside, what are they looking at out your window? Tag AS MANY other greggers as you can @! #PlantFriendsAreTheBestFriends 🌿

My favorite #Cyclamen wishes it was outside. My trusty #CastIron stays outside all the time unless the temperature drops below 30Β° for more than a few days. My poor #BirdOfParadise has seen better days with that cold snap that came through unexpectedly. And I am learning to love that my #BrazilianRainTree is making a comeback from being left outside earlier this year when it snowed. πŸ˜– #OutdoorGrowin definitely has its share of challenges. οΏΌ

This is my Lily & my Dahlia that I had on my back deck, but brought them in because it was getting to cold and they bloomed beautifully. They're both looking out of my storefront at the chiropractor office across the street 😁
#outdoorgrowing Just one of many outdoor plants, this one is by my front porch.
#outdoorgrowing I have my Thanksgiving cacti and snake plant outside! I'm always bringing them in, though-- and putting cinnamon on their soil to avoid bugs.
Hi, Sarah! So nice to see you! ❀️
@TruthfulApricot hi, Mary! I'm alive! 🀣 Life has been busy and not at all boring. I hope you are well!
Little bonsai out side
Dahlias have always been my favorite flower and I decided to grow them this year from a bulb I got at Walmart. I was so impressed by the flower I got late this summer. Currently it is too cold for her, so the bulb is overwintering in my parents basement.
Oh, @Michelle5986 -- I love it! It's so perfect!
@sarahsalith awe ty so much
@GreenGracie it's such a gorgeous bloom'οΏΌ
Some out door growing pics:
The first is a picture of a tree that my boyfriends mom planted from a seed 20+ years ago.
The 2-4 pictures are some of the last blooms from me & my moms garden right before the temperature started dropping. 🌸🌼
The last is our lemon tree that we have had for about 2-3 years and gave us about 19 lemons this summer.
Me and my mom have about 12 garden beds that we constantly are working on around the year! It’s a lot of work but I love my yard, it attracts all the critters & (bugs) but that’s okay because I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s so fun to see all the growth, especially for the established plants. We have plenty of gorgeous native volunteers as well like clematis. 🌱😊 it’s the end of our growing season here in North Carolina, but that means we will get to start planting our tulip bulbs, aeonemea and many other awesome spring plants ! We have done tulips for 4 years now and I can say they are really one of my faves 🀭 #OutdoorGrowing
All my pretty blooms
Had to be the glow up of my succulent arrangement after one year. Most of them have bloomed for me now and they all look so happy and healthy.
Pic 1) Day 1 of planting
Pic 2) Now πŸ₯Ή
Pics 3-5) Extra angles and blooms
Outdoor orchids + Rex Begonia, agaves and bunnies 🐰 🐰 in the yard , potted plant to block the patio, Elephants Foot πŸ˜πŸ¦ΆπŸ’ž, Bishops Cap. Love my outdoor plants πŸͺ΄ #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #OutdoorGrowing #outdoorplants #PlantTherapy #greggivesback #GregGang
I have been absolutely in love with the colors of my croton lately, that has been absolutely in love with being outside! πŸ’šπŸ§‘β™₯️
Here's one of my outdoor sarracenia! I would add more, but greg sadly eats the photos if I try and add more. It hasn't frosted here in FL yet so they aren't all dormant yet. Fingers crossed that it frosts after Thanksgiving!
Kansas weather is so unpredictable so all I have right now is the carnage from this year. Need to clean up shop while the sun is shining!
@HolyMaitake @Iabel02 @jusmenmyleafies @KindBushhoya @LoyalRaintree @MindfulGasplant
A false Christmas cactus that is just starting to bud! It’ll be coming inside soon for winter but it’s soaking up as much outdoor sun as possible! #OutdoorGrowing
Well they don't look so good now, do they? πŸ™ˆπŸŒ±πŸ˜† (-7 celsius here now).
Coming back stronger next year! This is one of my pink shrubby cinquefoil that I have grown from cuttings! 1 year old-ish.
Adding a pic from before I put it in the ground too. And how they look when I start πŸ˜„.
These are my plans that are still doing fairly well outside. My Chicago hardy fig, my venus fly trap, and a plant called Dead nettle.

I suppose if I want them to live, they should come in soon. πŸ€”
@UltraKoreanfir πŸ˜†πŸ˜† I just read: "... my Venus fly trap, and a dead plant called Nettle." 🀣

Your plants look great!
@sarahsalith 🀣🀣🀣☠️
I love my outdoor plants. This is our first frost of the season on a blaze profusion zinnia.
Little poinsetta guy used to be outdoor until he got whacked in half :( he was thriving until the accident! Now he's brought inside for some TLC until he feels well enough to be in the outdoors again <3
@hilly99
All the leaves fell off mine
Well not all my plants made it inside for winter 😬

My birds nest Fern is NOT happy lol. My ficus seem to be adjusting ok.
Happy Birthday Greg! I have a mix of outdoor annuals I ripped from their pots and rearranged into cooler weather tolerant planters, some we are still dragging in at night. The blueberry plants I need to bring in to overwinter, my old tea rose i saved a bit in a pot because i have a nasty neighbor that has been pouring chemicals on my og bush on the fence line, i refuse to lose a 100 year old tea rose. It's end of the season and we are expecting a snowstorm today so this is probably it. I'm sure I'll start planting peppers for next season within the next month, I love my outdoor gardens.
