So I have a beautiful zebrina alocasia in my kitchen, and she’s gone absolutely wild this summer. The smallest leaf is the oldest leaf, and the largest is the youngest. You can see her growth difference. I LOVE monosilicic acid; it works beautifully for alocasias. This particular one, I’ve grown from a corm and is a few years old now. I want to say three or four years old? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #TheThread #TheWateringHole #PropagationStation #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #PetsAndPlants #PlantCorner #PlantShelfie #RarePlants #PlantID #AlocasiaAddicts #Alocasia
Looks amazing! 💙
@Alucen Ah, thanks! 🙏 I kinda just love her.
I’ve been growing a lot of caladiums as well.
Then just some others
Second caladium is gorg to me, looks like art!
@Alucen Oh right! Not sure what it’s actually called, but I call it Christmas because the colors remind me of it. 🤣😉
@Idplantthat I think I'd end up naming it Jackson (Pollock) lol
@Alucen The abstract artist right?
@Idplantthat Yep! :)
My husband got some better photos for me while I held the oldest. The newest leaf is just shocking to me, and I’m thinking how big is the next one going to be, and I might need to move the two alocasias around in the kitchen. Hmm. 🤣
@Alucen That’s so cool. We’ll call it Jackson. That’s a much better name. 🤣🫶
Glorious plant, my goodness!
@Idplantthat wow those pics of Jackson are fabulous!!
