Repotting this morning, I do love a good overcast, warm morning to work with your buddies. Feeling pretty blessed to be able to do it. #naturesstudent I feel like days like this make being a nature student the greatest! I’m curious to see and hear what all of you have learned or been able to do this spring/summer. What are your summer hopes (I’d say goals, but let’s remember nature kinda works on her own timeline; gotta respect it.) with that being said, share! 🩡🐝🌸🌻🫢🏻 #HappyPlants #TheThread #TheWateringHole #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #NewPlantMom #OrchidLovers #PetsAndPlants #MonsteraMonday #PlantCorner #BeforeAndAfter #PlantShelfie #RarePlants #PlantID
The second-to-last I took too long to replant. (My bad πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ) So don’t look at her curled leaves too hard. The one before the monstera needs a pole, so this is my solution. 🀣 The very last is actually the recently sprouted bulbs of caladiums. So we are waiting for them to pop up now. πŸ˜‰ So excited πŸ˜†
This is the one that started all this. I have some great neighbors that cook amazing Middle Eastern food, so I potted her some of my cardamom. While it has flowered yet, I’m hoping, but honestly, getting flowers is tricky here. But you can use the leaves in replacement of the flower. πŸ˜‰β˜ΊοΈ And it smells amazing! This is true cardamom, not false, which doesn’t have the smell, unfortunately. This has a beautiful smell to it.
Good evening I accomplished doing my very first ever tropical micro climate. All the plants are somehow in similarity to each other. I will shortly add some pictures of my plants.
@GoodLecanora84 ooh! 😲 That’s so exciting! I can’t wait to see πŸ₯°
Theses are the plants that have created my very first tropical micro climate. Plant 1) is from Costa Farms in Florida, Plant 2) is also from Costa Farms in Florida, when I received this plant and after taking it out of the packaging the plant was extremely wilted and it has bounce back amazingly, Plant 3) is my beautiful stunning Sharry Baby orchid that I got from Lowe’s, Plant 4) is my Ficus plant (rubber plant) that I got from Target, and my very last Plant 5) is a philodendron plant from Target.
Loving your Chinese evergreen, you Xanthosoma, orchid, rubber plant. Every tropical paradise should have these? What are you thinking next for tropical space? Do you live in Florida? I guess I could look that up. 🀣 But I also like Costa Farms, they have some good stuff.
Right now I’m currently living in California
