My adorable little niece was over today helping me plant and clean up part of the greenhouse, and she brought some of her plants she needed to transplant. She was so excited to bring them over, and she reminded me I promised her she could have one of my caramel marble philodendrons, so she picked out which one, and I’m now acclimating to house conditions. So when they get back from a family vacation to Greenland (lucky ducks!), she’ll take it home. She told me today when she grows up she wants to be a landscape architect 🤣🫶🏻☺️🌸🐝 I love this girl. I’m sure it will all change when she’s ten, but oh my goodness, I love her. @Idplantthat there is no better way than to spend the day planting with a niece, daughter or grandchild. I learned plants from my mom and my granddaughter learns from me. You are doing a wonderful thing by supporting her dream of becoming a landscape architect and letting her play in the dirt. I love this post. Siggy is very expressive with thoughts and emotions. My niece was dressing Siggy up after this photo so they could play restaurant. Now Siggy refuses to take off her shirt 🤦♀️ at least we got her hat off. The big dogs in these pictures were all born in my house, and that cute niece of mine was right there with me. Her and her two other siblings all came to assist in our ten puppy delivery. So they’ve known her since the first moment they were born. So I trust them a little more with her. ☺️ My niece is definitely a hilarious little thing, and I love hearing other people love planting with their little ones! Grandchild; children; nieces or nephews, even your dogs. My dogs carry little water pails around when we are out gardening. 🤣
