Humpday sure came around fast this week🙌. Its amazing how just making it a 4 day work week speeds🏎️ things along! I ended up having yesterday mostly off. After loading up and driving to my job the painters werent done. I really need to make up for it though and put in a few full days to get back on schedule. Its our coldest morning so far with a temp of 57😍 in kansasland. We have a slight warm up into the mid 80s today but then its back into the 70 s for a week or more.

Our first awesome plant pic is from @MariansOasis HOYA HAVEN😍 were she has ANOTHER hoya blooom. This unusual and beautiful hoya multiflora shooting star💫 is showing its love this year with ANOTHER stunning bloom.
@MusicalRedmint had a busy and stressful day. When taking Mr Sleepy for his morning walk he all the sudden started hopping and whimpering! After close inspection by her loving hands, she found he had been stung on the paw by a bee😢. The poor little guy is healing up but he will be forced to wear his cone until then😤. Heres to a speedy recovery MR SLEEPY🙏!
@Preciousplants1 has been caring for this magnificent ZZ plant at her home. Its gotten so full and green under her expert care. All those perfect little leaves seam to be waving and saying " your the BEST miss Sherri🤗".
This absolutely majestic cortelydon australis was shared by @Sassylimey yesterday. This has been living the good life out on her patio. But with fall temps approaching it was time to make space inside for this wonderous beast! After clearing a space for it in her bathroom and hurking it into the house, she finally got it situated in its winter resting spot where im sure it will be sooo happy!

Good morning! Can’t wait for us to cool down, that sounds so nice. Yesterday was loooong and today should be normal. Have a big batch of plants to water today so I’ll see how many I can get through. Getting my carpet put in this morning!! All of us looked homeless in our rooms last night with just a mattress on the ground in our rooms!! @MariansOasis I had a shooting star Hoya for the longest time until I killed it … the coolest bloomer and a good bloomer !! The foliage is unlike any other Hoya!! @MusicalRedmint glad Mr sleepy is better! Such a cuddle dog!!!
I have not done any plant stuff because I can’t get to them .. too much stuff in the way from the bedrooms!! I will be glad when it’s done!! @TheConservator it’s a cool morning for you!! We are still in the 90’s … but I do enjoy the dip in temps in the mornings!!!

These are 10 Green Neon tetras. They're soo pretty, their other name is False Neon tetra die to the resemblance to their cousin, the Neon tetra. I think these guys are much nicer tho, the regular Neons [and Cardinal tetras] look too gaudy for me.
@teacher12 Teddy Swims need an [Asian] girlfriend 😏? Got a new female Black Samurai Halfmoon betta, her name is Aeris. Sorry for the photo quality, she's swimming all over the place and not complying.

@TheConservator yes the fog does give a morning a while different vibe !! When are you bringing your plants inside ?? I can usually keep most out until octoberish. I sure hate bringing them in because some really pout for a bit…

I'm sure the chaos will recede soon. And sometimes a bit of adventure living can be nice. I weirdly loved it when my parents remodeled our house waaaaaay back when and I got to bunk with my sister in basically an open construction site for weeks 🙃
It has been a crisp morning here as well with more than a hint of autumn in the breeze..I absolutely loved it. Freed my mind of cobwebs.
Speaking of: I just watched an older Taiwanese series. So there are tons of orchids everywhere in the background. And one scene began by focusing on a very pretty phal, then zooming out. And I had to rewind because I was so occupied in missing about whether there simply was a spider living on that thing or it had a spider mite problem. I was very preoccupied with that. I have issues, apparently 😅

Thank you Sonny for the shout out. That was quite the project getting the Cordyline Australis into my house. Fortunately I had enough room in my bathroom for her. I had the bathtub 🛁 removed a couple of years ago when remodeling, so I had the perfect spot for her!!
One of my peperomia plants, she's so pretty, produced one branch with all white/creamy coloured leaves that don't die! I know they can't photosynthesize, but they seem to be just fine, any ideas? 💡

@MusicalRedmint hey you are not alone … if I am watching a show with plants or flower arrangements I am always focused on that!!!! And I always am trying to figure out if the flowers or plants are real or fake !
@Araceae yes! She is gorgeous! Love seeing the new fishies. I see your harlequins in the background. I just stocked my new tank with some and I love them. They are so cute and sweet. I also got a new betta but I was horrible and fell for another longer tail. Ugh. I’m weak. I found a gorgeous betta that I begged the owner to sell to me, but he was already sold and being shipped to Texas. Poor betta. I think Teddy gave himself a fin cut while I was traveling, but he’s a beast now since he can swim much faster. Won’t hurt a fly, but he defends his corner of the tank and frequently swims around to let the others know he’s there. This was good because the bullies need a king to set them straight. 🤣🤣🤣
@teacher12 im not sure ive ever had what can really be considered a nightmare. About the worst i can think of are more end of the world scenarios. But tbh those dont scare me! It more an excitement cause i welcome that!😂🙌

When I was young I too had a Bee sting me in my foot, but fortunately I didn’t need to wear a cone 🤣😅😂🤣😅😂 Hope he feels better soon!! @Preciousplants1 Your ZZ plant really looks amazing with such shiny green leaves! @Sassylimey Is your Cabbage tree a Red Star cultivar? Looks great! @TheConservator deserves a 🥇! For your continued posts! I have not begun to water my plants yet. I had a rough day yesterday. Started with a doctors appointment, which was okay, but the visit to the Lab was an entirely different story. Leaving me with a severely bruised hand. After the blood draw. But I will live😂🤣😅 🤞😂🤣😅 And now it’s off to the plant watering , looks like 22 either need arrention and or water!!
@TheConservator Thanks, but it does indeed look worse than it is! The bruise on my left hand is tiny compared to right hand one. Because the Phlobotomist had to try both hands after the left one failed to produce enough juice 🩸. But like I said I’ll live, knock on wood!
@Hoyaobsessed hi Alavone, shooting star is the most prolific bloomer!! 💫. Drippy, but worth it 🤪. I appreciate its foliage too, much more like a bush than other Hoyas.
@SunSoilLove good morning Donna! No scent on the multiflora. But my callistophylla in bloom right now has a light fruity smell and yesterday my Krimson Queen smelled like peanut butter 😆
@teacher12 ugh 😣 I don’t but my husband has regular nightmares too! Most of the time they happen within the first 1-3 hours after he’s fallen asleep.

I am going to use the granular on the stuff I’m moving back into the house… and I was going to spray it down as well… I have spotted a few mealy’s and scale… not a bunch but don’t want to take the chances of infecting my indoor collection…

@ILoveMyPlants thers no copper really in the new houses these days except the ac unit. Those arent put in till last for that reason.
@TheConservator I only use the granular on my porch plants… the run off isnt much but drains into an isolated flower bed … I have a big guy come every three months to spray outside so I am pretty sure that spray he uses kills more than my granular … we get mosquitos and fleas pretty bad …
@Hoyaobsessed yeah im not realky thst concerned about the minimal runnoff out of pots. Its never getting more than a foot away from them before its absorbed

@CourtlyKingfern hi Evelyn 👋 that Hoya isn’t fragrant. It makes up in beauty what it lacks in scent 😆🥹. The Hoya pubicalyx, compacta and Krimson Queen are my most fragrant Hoyas 🙌
@MariansOasis okay 👌 now I have goals. It’ll be a while before my callistophylla matures enough to bloom; but I’ll look forward to any Hoya bloom that smells like something other than a flower shop. I feel like my sniffer is broken because that’s all I smell! 😆
Long day again friends!! Carpet is in the rooms and most of the rooms are out back together and my living room looks like a living room again… bedroom furniture tomorrow … then to decorate… I am not the best decorator …

I called her Aeris coz i like how her white spots [a galaxy patterning] looks like stars or clouds on a night sky or smt and apparently Aeris is Latin for 'sky'. Maybe Stella would've been a good name, but i like Aeris
