How to fertilize Spiny Pincushion Cactus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Spiny Pincushion Cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Little black spots #Mammillaria I'm not sure what these little black things are around my cactus. Overall the cactus is really happy and doesn't seem like mold.

Dry spots? Hi! Do any of you have an idea what might have caused these spots on my cacti? They are recent (during the past week I would say). It is just in this small area, very clustered. It has been warmer and sunnier the past week, could it be sunburn? (I thougt he wanted lots of sun🙈). But it is on the side, not really where the most sun would hit I think. Or is it some kind of disease? (Not sure how he could have gotten anything as he is standing in a closed room where nothing has changed the past 4 months). Or might he have gotten too wet after last watering?🙈 I water him aprox once a month. He is about to flower and I am a little sad I have made him sad😟 #cactusclique #cactus #cacti #plantsmakepeoplehappy #help #brownspots #Mammillaria

Can I repot a spiny pincushion while it's blooming? #Mammillaria Not pictured but my spiny pincushion has been slowly blooming over the past month and its flowers are just now opening up. Its roots have been trying to escape through the bottom of the plastic pot it's in for awhile and I'd really like to give it more space and a better pot than the one it came in. Will I do much harm to the plant if I repot it now? Should I wait until it's completed it's bloom cycle? Im just worried that waiting out such a slow cycle may be risking issues - it really wants more space to grow! Thanks in advance!

Trying to get an exact ID on this cactus. Think it's mammillaria polythele but apparently those are rare and I bought this guy for 4 bucks at a Walmart so something doesn't add up but naturally the tag on it says nothing about species. Help? #Mammillaria
