How to fertilize Chilean Pencil Willow

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Chilean Pencil Willow after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Introducing my new plants. My Weeping Willow Bonsai Trees. I’m impressed with the growth rate. I got them as mere sticks and in one week literally 5 days roots appeared on day 8 I saw foliage on the stalks. Omgosh! I was floored. I’m in LOVE already! Any suggestions or tips from anyone. I did a bunch of research but, wanting to know if anyone had experience with these. TIA.

Anyone know why my willow went from sprouting new leaves and growing and thriving to dropping all its leaves, green shoots turning black, even the main branch of the lower tree turning black. I am trying to save this guy, but I don’t know how. #help #CorkscrewWillow

Outdoor planting #CorkscrewWillow.. We've had this bad boy outside for as long as I can remeber. He's about 5 years old. He's been on the brink of death more times than I can count, but always comes back (he gets realllllyyyyyy mad if he isn't watered on super hot days, and we've gone camping a few times and not had "plant care") When is a good time to just plant him in the ground? He will be in the yard, right behind the picture.

🪴 Soil
Chilean Pencil Willow is very sensitive to dry soil, so choose a potting soil that retains moisture. A good soil will still drain well and contain lots of organic matter such as coco coir or sphagnum moss.
💩 Fertilizer
Chilean Pencil Willow is a fast growing plant and may deplete the nutrients in its soil over time. Replenish them with a gentle organic fertilizer or compost every 1-2 months depending on your location and season. Fertilize more often during the growing season and in warmer and brighter climates.
🧐 Troubleshooting
When troubleshooting a sad-looking houseplant, start by checking for signs of distress in its leaves, such as yellowing, browning, or drooping, which can indicate overwatering or nutrient deficiencies.
Inspect the soil moisture; too dry or too wet soil can cause problems.
Ensure the plant is getting the right amount of light, as too much or too little can stress it.
Finally, consider environmental factors like temperature and humidity, and adjust care routines accordingly to revive your plant.
