Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Phalaenopsis 'Taisuco Kaala' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Mini phal orchid leaf Hello! I noticed recently that one of my mini orchid’s leaves started yellowing and becoming thin and flimsy feeling. Can someone let me know the cause(s) of this? Thank you! <3 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #OrchidLovers #PetsAndPlants #Orchid #PhalaenopsisOrchid #Phalaenopsis #MiniPhalaenopsisOrchid

Semi-Hudro Culture #PhalaenopsisOrchid we shall see! Excited to try this method. 2 days in water, then I will let the roots air dry for 5 days, then 2 days in water, and so on. I use orchid bark for my orchids normally, but this way I can see the roots and don’t have to worry about gnats!

Hi! I’ve had this orchid for a few years and it has not flowered in over a year. It’s staying green but it’s also not doing much. I’ve fertilized it a few times. (But maybe not enough?) There are white speckles in the soil. I treated it once for fungus. I’m wondering if this is part of the problem? Please help!

Is this bad? I was told that orchids bloom for 6 months and then have to wait another 6 months to bloom again. But I’m wondering if it still looks healthy.. because the pot has white stuff on it.
