About jade
Did you know Peperomia plants belong to the pepper family, along with black peppercorns? Their fruits and seeds have traveled one of the longest distances ever recorded, over 3000 miles to an island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, while stuck to a bird's feet! 🦅 They can be easily propagated by leaves which make them super easy to share with friends!

Finding light for jade in your home

a window
jade may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of jade in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize jade

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your jade after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Who is she really? I'm still unsure who miss Cthulhu really is. She bloomed about a month ago and looking it up I couldn't find anything that looks like how her bloom did. Now me being the genius I am, I got no pictures of it but, I'll do my best to describe the bloom. So once it had finished it's cycle and fallen off it was about five or so inches long. Long is the important part. Her name is after her bloom which was this crazy looking tentacle thing. It had small lighter bumps spiraling down the tentacle. It's was just the one, no flowers, no smell, just a tentacle that originally looked like a new leaf but kept getting longer and longer. It took about 3 weeks for it to "mature?" And eventually drop. Pls help! I wanna know her better! Thank you :) #bloom

Leaves shriveled #Peperomia Hi, all of my plants have been doing quite well, especially since using Greg... except for Iroh, my jade plant. I am following the watering schedule prescribed by Greg: 1/2 cup every week (which seems like a lot). But it's gone from the profile pic to this. Any suggestions for my schedule? Thanks!
