Finding light for Sweet Basil in your home
Organic Basil love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Organic Basil does not tolerate low-light 🚫.

How to fertilize Organic Basil
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Organic Basil after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Interesting root growth on basil cuttings! Started two different basil cuttings last week, and the differences in their root growth are interesting to me—one has slightly thicker roots growing only out of the very bottom of the stem, while the other has thinner roots growing from various spots and branching off. Is there a reason for these differences/is one type preferable, or is it just luck of the draw? #SweetBasil

Stems turning brown? I recently noticed the bottoms of the stems on my basil turning light brown, as well as the tips of a few of the leaves near the bottom. Is this something to be concerned about, and if so, what should I do? (picture ft. my trusty assistant gardener) #SweetBasil
