Should I chop all the dried fronds in hopes of new growth? I’m on a rescue mission 😅 I’ve repotted it so that I could check the roots and from what I can tell, they look pretty good to me (not mushy, just dark brown or black, which I hope is normal). I sprayed the roots with peroxide in case there was any rot that I missed and removed the netting that was around the base. I also chopped some of the yellow leaves/fronds but left the green ones. The green ones are completely dried out too but I wasn’t sure if they’d still be photosynthesizing or not, what do you think? Should I chop these too and hope the plant puts out new fronds or leave them be? Also, more generally, do you think this is salvageable? Beautiful plant. Very sensitive and isn't at all hardy. Browns easily so keep soil moist, water when very top layer is wet. Bottom water to reduce mould. Keep out of direct sunlight

Never allow to dry out completely. If the soil isn’t kept more than half moist this plant will brown and crisp away. It can be rejuvenated with a trim and fresh drink though.

Literally if your a beginner plant parent stay away from this maiden hair fern. It is so hard to keep alive you have to water almost everyday. Very bad

My maidenhair fern does well in my med light bathroom. My bathroom doesn’t get any full sun in there. It loves the humidity and I never let him dry out as straight away I notice browning of his leaves.
