Kalanchoe Tarantula
About Kalanchoe Tarantula
Plants in the Kalanchoe genus are native to Madagascar and tropical Africa. They range from rubbery green leaves, to leopard print, and some are even fuzzy! The word Kalanchoe comes from the Cantonese name for these plants, pronounced Ka-lun-koh-ee in English. Their succulent leaves help store water during droughts, so they'll be just fine if you skip a watering or two (it happens!).

How to fertilize Kalanchoe Tarantula
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Kalanchoe Tarantula after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Not flowering #Kalanchoe Over a year ago this plant was blooming and beautiful but I feel like she is unhappy now. No blooms and the leaves look sad. Any suggestions? First photo is from sept 2023 and the second photo is now.

I believe this is a Paddleplant, does anyone know why the bottom half is droopy looking? It's still firm and looks the same all over except for the leaves pointing down. #Kalanchoe

My plant is utterly dead. #Kalanchoe There is no way of reviving it and I have no idea how this happened,I cared for it exactly how I was told to but it started drying up before repotting (which was 2 months ago), I assumed it was root rot so I repotted but nothing has changed. I started being less generous with watering but nothing seemed to be working, she was a blooming, wonderful plant until it all suddenly went down hill. Only 1 of the 3 is still somewhat alive. Is there any way to save this plant?

Wilting flowers #Kalanchoe hi! Should I cut off the dead and wilting flowers on Katy? Thank you!

Why have my kalanchoe tomentosa leaves fallen flat. I'm not sure whats going on with my kalanchoe tomentosa. My google search suggested underwatering, but I watered it 5 days ago. I have it outside where it gets direct sunlight in the mornings and late afternoons. I live in Hawaii so the temp doesn't vary too much, though it did get really humid last night. I had noticed the leaves had spread out from when I originally had bought it, but it wasn't too bad. It was okay last night, but this morning the leaves had fallen flat. I have another kalanchoe tomentosa that I got before this one, and its doing fine. Though I'm not sure if its a different type. This app identifies them as the same plant. First picture is how it looked when I first bought it, the next two are what it looks like now. Last pic is the other kalanchoe tomentosa. #succulentsquad #kalanchoe,
