Orangegrass
About Orangegrass
Orangegrass is a super rare houseplant 🌿 that needs regular watering to thrive. They do best in long-lasting, direct light ☀️ and should be less than 1 foot from a window.
Orangegrass likes soil that is well draining. Your plant shouldn't need added fertilizers if you repot each time it doubles in size.
Taxonomy

Finding light for Orangegrass in your home
a window
Orangegrass love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Orangegrass does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Orangegrass in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Orangegrass
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Orangegrass after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hi Monica! @Artistic_Stoner Hope you are having a fantastic weekend! I just wanted to show you the little dude—I potted him up! Look at him in his tiny new apartment 🤣💚 I didn’t know how much perlite to use. I feel like I didn’t use enough. Do you have a ratio for perlite to soil for succulents? Also, I decided to hold off on getting succulents/cacti because it’s so cloudy and gloomy here. I ordered some grow lights instead. I plan on getting succulents/cacti after I get my grow lights because I don’t want them to etiolate, and I feel like they definitely would with this gloomy weather we’ve been having :/ Oh! I saw some white little thing growing out of another. Is that a root? There’s also what looks like a thread on another leaf. #OrangeGrass

Hi @TheOddAsity! Okay, I’ll start with the good news which is that the white stuff, I’m assuming mealybugs, have not made a resurgence! But, I’m struggling with the plants that have ticks like bugs on the underside of the leaves. They are so hard to reach because they are so small, I have not been able to remove them without damaging the leaves. I’ve been using your homemade insecticidal spray for over a week. I had leftover store bought insecticidal soap that I used for the weeks before that. And, I have not seen any improvements with my these brown colored bug situation. Here are some pictures. I also noticed that some leaves have gotten burnt(?). Some became dry and fell off. Idk what to do. Do you have any advise? #OrangeGrass

How To Care For Baby Succulents? I’m new to succulents. I don’t have any succulents nor have I taken care of any before. I’ve had some leaves that I tried rooting in just regular potting soil (the only thing I have) with perlite for a few weeks. And out of those, this little guy has rooted. What do I do? Do I keep it in the same shallow dish I had it? Or do I move to a different pot with succulent soil? How do I water it? I was wondering if you guys could help me figure this out? Any tips and tricks are welcomed! I don’t even know what kind of succulent this is, but I’m excited to take care of it! I can’t believe it rooted! 🤗🌿💕 Thank you in advance!💚 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #OrangeGrass #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #SucculentSquad #Succulents #NewGrowth hi @Artistic_Stoner! Do you think you’d be able to tell me how to take of this little guy? 👀

What Plant Is This? I was wondering if you guys would be able to tell what kind of vining plant this is? It’s just been growing outside on this dormant hydrangea bush. How To Keep Pets Away From Plants? I was wondering what you guys do to deter your overly curious pets from chewing your plants. My Mainecoon loves plants to the point she will do anything and everything to play with them. Here’s what she did to my poor ZZ along with the culprit herself plotting her next move😈 I made sure to keep the ZZ far and high enough away for her but apparently she can jump really high if she wants to 😔 She did not get sick because she didn’t eat it, but she did chew on it—not one but four leaves! #PetsAndPlants #PetsOfGreg #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #CatsOfGreg #CatAteMyPlant #Orangegrass

What Causes Translucent Marks On Leaves? What are those marks on my crown of thorns’ leaves? I got this plant a week ago, and it came with some kind of a pest issue. But, I have sprayed with insecticidal soap, and have not noticed any more pests. I’m so confused as to what I should be doing. What is happening to those leaves, and how should I treat it? #HappyPlants #SucculentSquad #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #SucculentLove #Succulents #CrownOfThorns #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #help #Euphorbia #EuphorbiaMilii #OrangeGrass

Blooming In Fall? Is it normal for a Peace Lilly to bloom late in the fall? #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #PeaceLily #Blooming #OrangeGrass

Are Those Pests? What is that on the underside of the leaf? I sprayed it with insecticidal soap last night because I just brought it home yesterday. And, I’ve never dealt with pests before as I’m new to gardening. So, I’m unable to readily identify pests. I just want to make sure if it is a pest that it gets dealt with. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #help #PlantAddict #NewPlantMom #NewPlants #PlantAddict #PestControl #SucculentSquad #OrangeGrass

Direct vs Indirect Light What is considered direct sunlight? Is light coming through a window with a screen indirect sunlight or is it direct sunlight? I can’t seem to find a solid answer to this question. #HappyPlants #GregGang #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #light #NewGrowth #OrangeGrass
