Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Hoya lacunosa 'Amarillo' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I’m SOOOO EXCITED and HAPPY! 👀 Looks like my 1 year old Hoya Mathilde is likely going to 🌸 BLOOM 🌸 like crazy for the 1st time (and hopefully keep all her NEW 20+ penduncles for next time 😮) She stopped growing leaves and is only growing flowers, even on all her long empty leaf stems. 😍. She’s a 1st time bloomer! OMG so exciting to watch it go through all these stages 🎉💚👏🏻 1st time I’ve ever been through a Hoya blooming process. None of my other Hoyas have bloomed before. My Variegated Lipstick 💄🪴and Goldfish 🐡🪴 Plants are also currently blooming 😍! #NewGrowth #PetsAndPlants #BeforeAndAfter #hoyas #HoyaHangout #hoyamathilde #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GrowLights #hoyablooms #hoyaflowers

How do I help ensure it flowers? 🤩 Excited plant parent here - Sharon has the first start of a flower... I think, anyways? Previous new leaves started off kind of looking like a magic wand, lol. This stem is shooting off in an unusual spot and is pink! I recently moved it before I noticed the flowering stem - I'm wondering if I should move it back to its old spot? It might have been warmer but had less light. Never thought I'd ever get one to flower so any other tips appreciated! 😊 TIA #greggang! #Hoya #hoyaobovata #hoyahangout #hoyaheads #hoyablooms #flowering #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantfriendsarethebestfriends #ballondusoleil

Hello! I noticed my Hoya Fungii has a shiny black raised spot on its stem. Does anyone know what this could be? I haven’t noticed anything else out of the ordinary aside from the spot. It is hard, and I wasn’t able to wipe it off with isopropyl alcohol. I thought maybe it could be black scale but it won’t come off, and seems flatter and more rectangular than the photos I saw through a Google search. Also the plant is a bit dusty, but I don’t believe any of that is pest related fuzz. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks! #Hoya

This is my very 1st Post on Greg! My Hoya Mathilde Splash is growing LOTS of Peduncles - for the VERY 1st TIME! It has 15+ of them and counting! A few of them have little purple budds. I have a few other Hoyas but this is the 1st one to bloom under a Sansi 24 Watt grow light. It looks like it’s stopped growing leaves and is only growing more and more peduncles, even on long empty leaf stem extensions. I hear you have to water them more often so they don’t dry out and fall off - maybe once a week? It’s a 4 inch pot root bound. Any advice to help me through the blooming process? It’s so exciting!!! How many do you think will actually bloom? Thanks 💚 🌺 #Hoya #HoyaHangout #peduncles #NewGrowth #hoyamathilde #happyplant

Leaves rotting #Hoya Hi all, I'm new here. I have a Hoya Pubicalyx Splash that I got from a garden centre a few months back, but it's not doing well at all. The leaves are rotting and falling off at a rate of knots 😔 what am I doing wrong and can I save it? It's in indirect sunlight (north facing), not very humid space. This is the pot it came in. Thanks in advance!

Small white spots have appeared on a clipping. Roots are very healthy, no distress detected. Concern? #Hoya

Brand new baby! What are some off the wall pointers you have for getting this little baby to be the statement piece it aspires to be?
-
Rubber plant I would please like to know when I can transfer this plant to new pot and what kinds of soil and pot to get if I need to put in bigger pot or just leave alone?

It’s snowing outside and inside I just found my Hoya Krohniana Black has just opened up its first flowers! They are cute and fuzzy! 😻I have been waiting a couple years to see my first Hoya bloom. It’s finally here I think I woke up the neighbors with my excitement, but man does it stink! Seriously smells like funeral flowers. Lol #HoyaHangout #Hoya #NEPAGregGang #ADHDPLANTLOVERS
