Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Heart to Heart 'Bottle Rocket' Caladium after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

More sunlight? This is a fairly new plant, watering about once a week or when the top 2/3 inches are dry. I’ve noticed that as the leaves start to shoot up they’re a nice healthy green but then turn white and stop growing. I’m hoping it’s maybe lacking sunlight I’ve never treated root rot before 😭 the first pic is how they start out and then they turn into the second pic. This is a west facing window.

My two heart to hearts Hi, I have two hearts to heart plants are wilting and dying from the looks of it, and I don’t know why. I was told they could be outdoor plants and have more than 6 hours of sunlight. I live in a desert climate and they don’t get much shade other than in the morning and early afternoon, so do I need to get them some shade or something? They are bottle rockets so you know.
