About Ficus Elastica Decora
Ficus elastica, more commonly known as the rubber tree, has a white, milky latex that is a source of natural rubber. They’ve also been shown to have excellent antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. The aerial roots of the rubber tree have been used to create incredible living bridges in India. The bridges get stronger over time as the roots slowly fuse together, and some are over a hundred years old! 🌉

How to fertilize Ficus Elastica Decora
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Ficus Elastica Decora after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Rubber plant is asking for help 😩 My #RubberPlant started looking all sad all of a sudden. The soil is not too moist but I also do water it regularly (same as always and it was thriving until now). Does anyone know what this could be? #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

I’m not liking the look of this brown spot of Foxxys leaf. She has three. Any ideas what they are? #GregGang #Ficus #Greggers #PLANTMAFIA

What’s going on with my rubber plant? My rubber plant is a relatively new member of my plant family and I recently repotted it into a pot slightly bigger than the one it was in originally. It’s still kind of small but figure it would be better than the original one for the time being. It seems to be doing well — standing taller than before, leaves green and strong. Except the lower leaves — it dropped two already. They seem to turn brown overnight. I inspected it for pests and didn’t find anything, but just in case — treated it with Neem oil and a 4:1 water:h peroxide since I recently had an issue 6with gnats. It’s so odd and I can’t figure out what the issue is. Can anybody share their experience? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #PlantWitch 6 #PestControl

Brown edges on ficus Got this gorgeous plant about 2 months ago and it has slowly started to develop brown edges. I repotted with a rubber plants soil mix in a terracotta pot but the edges still seem to be browning. What am I doing wrong and how can I save this plant!?

Bran new baby! Do I change the pot? Remove the paper? I don’t want to shock the poor dear. #Ficus
