About Audrey Ficus
Did you know that all plants in the Ficus genus produce figs? In fact, the word Ficus quite literally means figs! Even cooler, all figs are pollinated by tiny wasps that use the fruits as a safe place to raise their young. 🐝 Ficus plants also contain latex which emerges as a milky sap when twigs are broken. This latex makes them toxic, so be sure to keep a close eye out if you have children or pets!

How to fertilize Audrey Ficus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Audrey Ficus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Tips to stop / reverse yellowing leaves! Hello Audrey Ficus community and happy Sunday! This is my tree, Leon. I’ve noticed a few of his leaves are starting to yellow. I just noticed it yesterday so it’s extremely new. I’ve tried to google it and it gave me the possibility of over or under watering. I watered Leon about two days ago, giving him 1 1/4 cups. Google also said it could be something to do with sunlight. It’s been very cloudy the last two days so I moved him from his usual corner slightly closer to a winder. He’s basically in dirrect sunlight but like I said it’s been very cloudy. If anyone could give me any insight into what might be causing this and how I might reverse it that would be great! Also any tips that may help me avoid this in the future. Thank you so much :)

Good evening! I just got this plant yesterday and repotted it. I tried googling how long to wait till I can water it and it said about a month. I’m new to this plant but a month sounded like a long time so if anyone could tell me whether or not that’s true and if it’s not to let me know how long I really should wait, I’d appreciate it! Also I’m looking into getting a humidifier so if anyone has any suggestions there that’d be great 🙂

Is this Ficus looking good? Just wondering if it needs anything else 🤪

When I repotted her she rebelled and dropped all of her leaves… this isn’t the first time and she totally is bouncing back, but she’s really leggy. How do I help her? Can I prune to encourage more bushy growth? Thanks!! #Ficus

New Audrey Yellowing bottom leaves Hello! I just adopted this audrey about a week and a half ago and it gets no direct sun only bright indirect sun. The lower half wasnt getting as much sun as the top because it was behind a couch arm. I moved it to this location today to see if it helps. I already removed (it was pretty loose) one other large yellow leaf at the bottom. What could this be? She might also still just be adapting. I included photos of the full plant and problem area. Is this normal?

What’s up with my #AudreyFicus ? I’ve had her for almost a year. Haven’t had any issues until now. I water every 7-10 days. Just watered a few days ago and noticed some leaves on the bottom are dying. It’s in the same pot and soil as I bought it, should I #repot it? Or chop it and propagate it? #SadPlant #Ficus #help #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
