How to fertilize Echeveria Green Pearl

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Echeveria Green Pearl after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

My plants really tall #Echeveria When i first got my plant it was just a normal succulent, one year later, it’s really tall and had babies (lol). Is this normal? I had to put up a stick because it was leaning a lot and needed support. I think it’s a mexican firecracker idk tho

Repotting In The Winter? Hello lovelies!! I just purchased this beautiful echeveria today on sale. I brought her home and pulled her nursery pot out, only to find what I believe to be dead leaves from overwatering. I do not know the current soul mix she is in, and while the nursery pot has holes, her ceramic pot does not. I believe I may need to unpot her and put her in dry soil to make sure there’s no rot, however I’ve read that succulents can go dormant in the winter. I’m worried about shock, should I just go cold-turkey on the water with her for a while and wait to repot until spring? Or should I risk the repot now? All and any advice is super appreciated! #Echeveria #repotting #overwatered #homedepotplants

some updates on the plants I potted with bonsai jack gritty mix. 🌱🪨 they have done so great and really impressed me on how well & fast they settled in. They are super happy, and have grown a noticeable amount since I repotted. I posted my pickle plant a week or so ago, and since then she has continued to grow and impress me! I have to say this is one of my favorite plants right now! They have grown taller, & have even started to put off babies! (Pics 1-3) 🌱✨😊 the other pot I used the gritty mix in, has two plants which is a graptosedum bronze, and an Echeveria I haven’t identified yet 😆 the Echeveria has done amazing and has gotten bigger and seems super happy with its new home! The graptosedum was on the brink of death, but is now growing and doing well. 😊 #NewGrowth #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #PicklePlant #HappyPlants #Echeveria #Graptosedum #BonsaiSuccs #PlantAddict

Repotting Finished! My echeveria definitely took some overwatering at the store. Today I replaced her soil with a succulent mix w/ extra perlite to help with the winter weather here in my apartment. Luckily I didn’t see any rot while inspecting her roots, but I couldn’t get all of her old soil loose. I removed as much of the wet soil as I could and will water soon once I believe the leftover soil has had a chance to dry as well. I’ve got a grow light coming in on Monday for her too as we don’t get a lot of sun in my place! As you can see, I added a photo of her old mix… barely any drainage! Poor girl. And I lost a few water logged leaves during the process but I believe she’ll be better off without them! <3 #Echeveria #overwatered #repotting

Some plant updates 😊🌱 All the plants pictured except for the airplant, have been treated with arber fungicide & insecticide 🧪 they all have been noticeably healthier and stronger, I’ve had less leaf drop, and new growth! Some of the plants picture like the Echeveria Dusty Rose (1), and Echeveria cubic ice (3), have been dropping leaves, along with yellowing. There could be a few causes for this, but after my fungus knat issue im super paranoid and have since then treated all my plants with a mixture of both insecticide & fungicide. I’m glad they are responding well, and even my tiger jaws from last week has some mite issue that has magically disappeared! 🤩✨ I really recommend these two products for anyone having plant issues, this combo specifically. On arbers website they have a package that comes with both the insecticide&fungicide for a better deal, and they work perfect preventing both fungal issues caused by bugs, and work separately to prevent other issues. #ArberBioFungicide #ArberBioInsecticide #NewGrowth #HappyPlants #SucculentLove #PestControl #SucculentSquad #Succulents #Echeveria #Haworthia #AirPlant #Faucaria #tigerjaws

more updates 😊🌱✨ 1. Taro my mystery Echeveria, I think it’s a morning Dew Echeveria but I’m not 100% sure so if anyone has a different opinion please comment below! He is super healthy, and got repotted recently into gritty mix. 2. My baby calico hearts, I separated her from my bigger calico hearts. I’m so glad I was able to get two plants out of it. They really are one of my favorite plants, and I’m so happy they both are doing so well. 🌱💕 3. Silver teaspoons 🥄 has new growth, & has been treated recently with arber. 4. Pachyphytum moon silver, every time I look at these guys, I think about the state they were in when I bought them at the store, they were bone dry, shriveled and needed lots of love. 🌱 They have made such a comeback & have grown so much! 5. My string of pearls 🌱🫛🧵 she still is putting off new growth, & doing well. I try to rotate her as much as possible so she can grow evenly. I was able to get a lot off watering done today, lately I have beenn having to water twice as much if nott more, after repotting some of these plants in gritty mix. It’s a lot to adjust too, since I’m not used to having to water as much, but I will get adjusted to the new routine. ⏰😬 #NewGrowth #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Echeveria #CalicoHearts #Kalanchoe #Pachyphytum #StringOfPearls #PestControl #ArberBioFungicide #ArberBioInsecticide #HappyPlants

How cleverly this #echeveria #FireandIce hid itself in a patch of weeds. It's a wolf in a sheep skin LOL 😜😊 #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #succulentsquad #succulentlove
Echeveria Green Pearl thrives in dry soil and should be watered sparingly. Use our water calculator to personalize watering recommendations to your environment or download Greg for more advanced recommendations for all of your plants.
☀️ Sunlight Needs
Echeveria Green Pearl requires abundant, bright and direct light. Place it less than one foot from a window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪. Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement in your home 🏡.
🐶 🐈 👶 Toxicity
Greg does not have confirmed data on this plant’s toxicity. If you, a family member, or a pet consumes plant material of unknown toxicity, it’s always best to consult a medical professional.
If you or someone else ingested this plant, call Poison Control at US (800) 222-1222. If a pet consumed this plant, contact your veterinarian or the ASPCA at US (888) 426-4435.
💨 Humidity
Echeveria Green Pearl enjoys lots of humidity. Provide humidity for your plant by watering regularly and thoroughly, since plants absorb most water through their root system rather than their leaves. They may also benefit from being placed next to a humidifier.
🪴 Soil
Echeveria Green Pearl is very sensitive to wet soil, so choose a potting soil that drains very well and doesn’t retain too much moisture. A good soil will have lots of perlite or vermiculite for drainage and some organic matter for nutrition. A few handfuls of perlite added to regular store-bought cactus soil will do the trick!
💩 Fertilizer
Echeveria Green Pearl grows very slowly and doesn’t require added fertilizer. Replacing your plant’s potting soil once a year should provide them with more than enough nutrition. Remember, plants get their energy from sunlight, not fertilizer!
❄️ Dormancy
It’s common for Echeveria Green Pearl to go dormant in the wintertime and you may notice their growth slow down. Waterings should be spaced out more during this time.
🌎 Native Region
Echeveria Green Pearl is native to Central and northern South America.
🧐 Troubleshooting
When troubleshooting a sad-looking houseplant, start by checking for signs of distress in its leaves, such as yellowing, browning, or drooping, which can indicate overwatering or nutrient deficiencies.
Inspect the soil moisture; too dry or too wet soil can cause problems.
Ensure the plant is getting the right amount of light, as too much or too little can stress it.
Finally, consider environmental factors like temperature and humidity, and adjust care routines accordingly to revive your plant.
