About Dwarf Weeping Fig
The weeping fig, native to southeast Asia, is the official tree of Bangkok, Thailand. They make impressive additions to any living space, but in their natural habitat these trees can grow over 100 feet tall and provide food for many local bird species. How to fertilize Dwarf Weeping Fig

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Dwarf Weeping Fig after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Should I repot a 20+ year old Ficus Benjamina? My family has a ficus benjamina that has been in the same pot for at least a decade I’d say 😅 She went through a period where she lost most of her leaves and even though she has more now, she still has some yellowing leaves and not as many as she used to. The soil seems pretty compacted and hard, but water still goes through and seems to get absorbed. I’ve heard these can also be finicky trees when repotted. So basically, I’m wondering should I repot her or would that do more damage than leaving her in her pot? #Ficus #FicusGang #RepotSeason #repotting #HappyPlants

Brown spots on my Fig tree 😕 My fig tree has brown spots on the leaves. Originally I thought it was getting scorched by the sun, so I moved it out of the direct sunlight. Now she’s in the corner of the same room that gets sunlight all day… And still has brown spots, and one leaf even fell off. It’s a southwest window. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #FiddleLeafFig #fiddlefig #Ficus #

So her leaves get droopy and it takes a minute to get them to go back up after watering. I’m guessing she may need a new pot? #Ficus

Golden Gate Ficus & Bonsai Newbies Hi everyone! So we adopted a ~8 year old golden gate ficus recently and noticed it has thrips or aphids (can’t tell) in the soil. They move when we water her, which is how we noticed them because they’re so tiny. We just bought Bonide and have begun spraying her weekly, but wanted to know is there anything else we should do? Also, we’re VERY new so if you have a recommended watering, pruning and/or fertilizing schedule we’d REALLY appreciate it! #Bonsai #Ficus

Umbellata! Related to the Fiddle. Love the wide heart shaped leaves. Can’t wait for it to be a proper tree one day! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #Ficus
