How to fertilize Drosera macrantha
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Drosera macrantha after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can anyone help Sporky? Distilled 💦 only. Carnivorous soil with spaghnum on top. 5” self watering resevoir pot but I havent been using the water resevoir bc I thought he may have been getting too soggy. He was struggling in an east window so I moved him 2 weeks ago to a west facing bathroom window to increase his humidity. He just looks pitiful now.

I need some help😭 #SpoonLeavedSundew I’m sure it’s probably to late but I’ve only had this guy for a few weeks, and he looks like he’s slowly dying🥲 I have him sitting in distilled water and under a grow light, I have no idea how I did this. I have three other carnivorous plants, nepenthes and a butterwort and they are all doing fine… #Sundew #CarnivorousPlants #CarnivorousClub #help

Started this savage bog around June/July and it is making great progress! Hopefully it comes back even better after its dormancy period. #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #BeforeAndAfter #OutdoorGrowing #CarnivorousPlants #VenusFlyTrap #SundaySunshine

Cape Sundew green with brown tips #capesundew hey I'm new to plants and willing to learn what I need. I got 2 cape Sundews last week. they both came green with some turning brown on the tips but got worse over time. 1 even came squished but hoped it would bounce back.it didn't help I put them in an open terrarium since I think it made it worse. I now have them in pots again. I googled open terrarium could be fine with airflow, but mine even started to grow fungus on the squished one. I repot them in individual pots with sphagnum moss and perlite. can they bounce back? is there more I can do? I'm trying to water them correctly too with 2 hours in a water tray. then taking the plants away till 3 days later or till it gets dry.

I just got the plant a little over a week ago and it already seems like some leaves are dying. I have a grow light and only water with distilled water. Idk what to do. #CapeSundew

I’m historically a terrible gardener. I hear drosera can attract mosquitoes; I have an issue with there always being a few mosquitoes in my bedroom at night in summer, would having my drivers in the room at night help in any way to divert them from me? #SpoonLeavedSundew

No longer thriving #SpoonLeavedSundew I came back from vacation and my plant had a lot of die back. I’ve only had it since March so I wasn’t sure if this was normal or if this may have been accidental poor care from my housesittter. Is there any suggestions to support it returning to life if it’s a result of poor care?
