How to fertilize Allsweet Watermelon
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Allsweet Watermelon after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Watermelon Female Flowers Hi everyone (why do I keep saying Hi everyone?), I’ve had two watermelon female flowers get pollinated, but once they were about a bit smaller than a large pill, they became all black and squishy. I’m afraid that my most recent ones might become like that too. Also, I pollinated each with 6 male flowers, so the pollination definitely was successful. Any ideas on why they keep aborting? I did put small cloth bags around them. These pictures are just images of the bags. Ignore the peppers. #Watermelon #abortion

Is it ok if one of my female flower petals kind of broke and shriveled up during hand pollination? #Watermelon

Nooo, it wasn't ready, it wasn't ready lmao #Watermelon it doesn't taste terrible though. It felt kinda mushy and hot when I got home so I got scared. It's my first one though, so not too bad...

Trimmed back due to aphids but the melons seem to be okay #Watermelon

Aphids Gaaaaahhhhhh, these aphids are driving me crazy!!!! As far as I know, aphids are on my watermelons, and they are covering my male flower stems. I don't have any pesticides or anything, so I just resort to checking every single one of my watermelon stems and squashing every aphid I see. Anyone know some good solutions to this aphid problem? Also, I don't want to use ladybugs. Ugh. Creepy crawlies🐞. #PestControl #aphids
