How to fertilize Chinese Hibiscus

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Chinese Hibiscus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What’s going on? She had only one branch with leaves and little by little they’ve been falling out while still green. The branches don’t show signs of new growth. What should i do? Is she dead?

Beautiful new bloom this morning on my new hibiscus I got at Sam’s the other day while waiting for my new tires to be installed on my car 🌺 Should I repot her out of the plastic pot she came in or should I wait? If so what soil should I use? I think I still have some of my Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil that I used for my pink princesses, but not sure if it’s needed right now or leave her.

What other plant parents say

She needs constant moisture, so I water her every other day. Also, needs a lot of direct sunlight. The blooms are FANTASTIC and fragrant, though they typically last only a couple days. But I love that you can take the fallen blooms and dry them to make tea!
As long as you care for hibiscus, she won’t let you down!
