Finding light for Tarija Cereus in your home
a window
Tarija Cereus love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Tarija Cereus does not tolerate low-light 🚫.

How to fertilize Tarija Cereus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Tarija Cereus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Should I remove pups? I was thinking I would but wasn't sure of when to do it. I'm sure the one is a little too small but is the other one an ok size to be removed? Or should I just leave them both on the main plant? Also, I know they probably need more light so I'll try to figure that out. Any help is appreciated!😁 #Propagation #cuddlycactus #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #Cactus #PleatedCereus

My Pleated Cereus main stem is 9' tall and has a 5' stem arising from the base of the main stem. I need to prune both stems and start new plants from the cuttings. Can anyone help guide me with this project? #PleatedCereus

Repotting tips Hello, I recently bought this plant and I was wondering what would be the best way to repot it to a slightly larger pot. What soil should I use? Should I get a pot with a drain? How can I go about not damaging the roots ? or just being careful with it. Any ideas would be great, thanks.

Thirsty?? Hey guys!! Can you explain or even perhaps take a picture so that I can see what she looks like when she’s actually thirsty? I’m so parainoud about over over watering that I feel like I almost never water her at all!! That’s not good either tho…do any of you guys have any info about what they look like and feel like when they are ready for a drink?

peruvian apple cactus problems My peruvian cactus has been turning brown (i took the gross parts off that were too far gone) with these crack/line things and I'm not sure why? The pot has drainage and cactus soil, there's a grow light running about 9 hours so I'm at a loss.
