Finding light for Assorted Ferns in your home

a window
Assorted Ferns can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Assorted Ferns in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Assorted Ferns

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Assorted Ferns after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Why are the tips of my fern black? They don't feel really crispy or mushy. It's in a closed terrarium, and I don't see any major condensation on the glass, only a very light fog in the afternoon. #fernfriends #terrarium

Hey #GregCommunity !! My sister ( @Maddsplantz ) had this wonderful idea of making a plant scrapbook. ☺️ So we got binders and notebooks, a whole bunch of my mom’s scrapbooking stuff, and we are gonna make a page or two dedicated to one plant with care instructions and different information about them, along with their names and when we got them. Over time, the goal is to fill up a binder or sketchbook with all our lovely plants! 🥰🪴 If anyone would like to join in on our journey, it would be so awesome!! 🫶 use this tag and we’re gonna scrapbook away together!! 💛🌿 #plantscrapbook #plants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewPlantMom #PlantTherapy #PlantLove #HappyPlants #Greggers #GregGang #brunchataudreys #PlantCorner #HappyPlace #HappyPlants #PothosPack #Calathea #Philodendron #Aglaonema #FernFriends #OrchidLovers #SucculentSquad #AlocasiaAddicts #Anthurium #Begonia #Fittonia #ArtsAndPlants #PetsAndPlants #PropagationStation #NewGrowth #SucculentLove

How do I get rid of fungus gnats in a closed terrarium? There are some gnats in my terrarium, and I want to get rid of them before they eat up the plants. #terrarium #fungusgnats #fittonia #babyrubberplant #peperomia #fernfriends

:( a bit sad today, woke up this morning and found out that two young branches of my maidenhair fern was broken. It looks a bit bald now but i am sure they will cover it again in a while, they always do. People at home said the culprit is my cat so i'm just 😔 I should probably find a high pot stand for my fern. Also glad this app exist because where else am i supposed to rant stuff like this? (Left pic: current status. Right pic: before two branches broken) #plantsmakepeoplehappy #maidenhairfern #fernfriends

Should I replace the fern in my closed terrarium? I made a closed terrarium a month ago, and everything's looking healthy... except for the fern. It looks too wet. I've tried airing out the terraium, but then the fittonia got too dry. I don't think these plants like the same level of humidity. If the fern dies, what should I replace it with? I've heard biophytum works well in terariums. Do you agree with that? #fernfriends #terrarium #biophytumsensitivum

What are the shedding fuzzy looking kinda transparent almost skin like things near the bottom of the stems? Is that normal or some sort of infestation? #BostonFern #whatisthis #normalornot #FernFriends #lovefern
