About Aloe 'Mellow Yellow'
Many people are familiar with Aloe vera, but this genus of plants contains tons of other beautiful succulent plants that come in all sorts of colors! Their succulent leaves evolved to store water in dry climates, which makes them a perfect fit if you're a busy plant parent. With great care (and a lot of sunlight) you may even see your Aloe bloom! Their flowers grow out of a large spike and can be shades of red, orange, and yellow. 🔥

Droopy leaves? Hey all, I recently rescued this Aloe Vera plant (my baby) from my friends cause they didn't want to take care of it. I've been trying to save it and turn it into a big healthy Aloe plant but I could use some tips. Yall got anything for me? Or is there something i'm doing wrong? (I don't water it too often, but I just watered it today because the soil was dry.) Thanks!

Trying to resurrect this sad aloe vera, she was a gift from my mums friend and is in a bit of a sad state. I’ve chopped off as many limp/bent or brown leaves as I could bare to but there is some new growth hidden in there!! I’ll repot this guy with special soil at some point but I want to leave it for a bit. As always, any advice is appreciated 🥰 (Please excuse the fact that these pictures are in my sink 😂) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewPlantMom

Drying out, thining leaves and fertilizing. #AloeVera Ive realized that i may be killing my plant, I water her maybe once per week or maybe even less. Because Im scared Ill overwater her. She dried up all of her older leaves that used to be thick because she didnt have enough nutrients. Ive puller her out of pot, rinsed roots, cleared them and mixed fertilizer in a cup and let her simmer in for a full 5 or more minutes. I also trimmed 3 bottom leaves and ill be putting her in same pot in few hours. Edit: All of her leaves are curled up, and they were defeneately not like that when I brought her home. Few months ago. I want to get her back in her former shape. Does anyone know how often sould I be watering her? I do it by bottom watering - letting it absorb by drainage holes and then putting it on a old towel to pull out acces water.

How are the 🍃 feel on a healthy #aloevera ? A co-worker told me firm. Mine has more of a soft firm, and I noticed brown spotting.

Do I need to split these guys up ? I have only been a “plant lady” for 1-2 months. I’m definitely to learning and navigating this new venture. With that being said. Do I need to separate these guys or are the 3 of them one plant and not 3 different one. Thanks in advance guys. This is the best plant 🌱 🪴 community, everyone is so helpful. Thank you 🥰🥰

Should I be concerned about Drakes posture? I have a feeling this leaf might snap off or something. How can I fix Drakes posture?

Advice!!! Help #AloeVera #happyplants #newplantmom #planttherapy #plantsmakepeoplehappy Im pretty new to plants, i own a few and had this aloe gifted to me around two months ago and it went through major trauma being in my bedroom that gets low light, i had also over watered her i believe and she turned very thin, curling inwards, browning in some spots/ grey ish, tips were browning, ( i think was due to water contamination) and just not too green at all. I did lots of research and realised it needed a much brighter window and move it to my i believe west facing window and it sits on the cill in the morning sun, the afternoon sun i move it to on the counter where a strip of it is pure sunshine ( the only sunny spot in my place) and i move it to where the Sun is throughout the day since i dont get much of it, shes been in light for 3 ish weeks now and i dont know if shes recovering okay? i notice shes much greener now ( in photo) but still very thin and i looked for root rot, i believe it was just starting on the big aloe, i pruned it, repotted them all 2 ish weeks after i overwatered her i believe, and most of the bigger babies lost their roots aswell before i repotted. The babies arent as curled as the big aloe but one is very brown in colour and they are thinning quickly. What do i do?? I want to see her thrive again, she was so thick! I also had to cut off some very curled and thin peices.

When should I water this plant? The details for the plant says to water 2 weeks +. But I repotted, and then watered (at apps suggestion) today. It’s now scheduled to water it again in a week. I don’t want to over water it. Should I follow the apps guide for the plant? Or follow the instructions of the app to water in a week? This is her just repotted.

What’s wrong with my Aloe? She’s seems quite healthy and happy, I noticed these spots on her and I’m not sure what to do. I moved her off the window sill but still close enough to get a lot of sun #AloeVera #help
