Aloe antandroi
About Aloe antandroi
Many people are familiar with Aloe vera, but this genus of plants contains tons of other beautiful succulent plants that come in all sorts of colors! Their succulent leaves evolved to store water in dry climates, which makes them a perfect fit if you're a busy plant parent. With great care (and a lot of sunlight) you may even see your Aloe bloom! Their flowers grow out of a large spike and can be shades of red, orange, and yellow. 🔥

How to fertilize Aloe antandroi

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Aloe antandroi after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Coloring is off~ The first three photos are of this aloe when I first got it. A lovely, typical ale green. If you look at the subsequent photos, the color is more of a faded, chalky bluish green color. Is it dead? #AloeAntandroi

Venom, my Sidewinder Aloe, has grown substantially since being repotted & moved outside!! I love the patterning on his leaves-- reminiscent of a snake's scales. 🐍 #sidewinderaloe #aloe #succulents #happyplants #newgrowth #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #succulentsquad #succulentlove #jesssjungle #planttherapy #outdoorgrowing

Help! The leaves of my aloe vera look a bit curled up. She gets water around once every two weeks, and gets 1-2 hours of sun daily (when there is some 😅) through the window. What’s wrong? #AloeVera
