How to fertilize Ming Aralia
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Ming Aralia after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hi everyone’s, My name is Tracy, my husband passed away recently and he’s had this Ming in his family for 100 years he received it from his mom in 1972. This plant means a lot to my family, I don’t know much about growing plants, he was the one with the green thumb. I’m just wondering if it’s healthy looking, because the leaves in the middle are dry and fall off but not too many and there’s a few leaves that are tinted yellow. I also would love some recommendations for fertilizer, and how do I change the dirt, I don’t want to hurt the plant or have it develop root rot or shock. Attached below is some of the instructions he posted but I don’t know if that’s necessarily healthy for the plant. Any help or tips would be appreciated Thank you #beginner #help #MingAralia
