Lemon Meringue Pothos can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.

How to fertilize Lemon Meringue Pothos
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Lemon Meringue Pothos after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Random post that isn’t really important at all but I decided to rename my golden pothos! It was previously Plato but I decided I wanted to have a Polynesian name given its native origins. So now it’s named “Liko” meaning “leaf bud” or “new leaf” which I think is very fitting because my pothos grows like a weed, always shooting out new leaves. So yeah, Plato is now Liko! (Still trying to find a new pot for him lol 😅)

Yellowing/ droopy My plant was growing so I recently repotted her and gave her some fertilizer, but now I’m starting to see yellow leaves and she is very droopy. Did I mess her up? 😔

Limp and Broke I noticed a few days ago that a leaf tuned yellow and then died, but the overall plant was looking like a limp noodle. Since it hangs above my head, I got up to look at its soil when I noticed the plant wasn’t even connected to the soil anymore! So I cut the end and stuck it in water, I moved it to a north window that gets bright indirect light. I feel like pothos are pretty hardy and it will survive, anything else I can do to ensure? This plant is a prop from great-grandmas OG. I did get some new props too, there was a long piece of stem that had ZERO leaves, but I cut it anyways and started to prop stems (two 4 inch) #JadePothos #PothosPack #PothosWater #PothosPack

Neglected Golden Pothos This pothos went without water for several months. It likely didn’t get enough light either due to its position/time of year. The soil became hydrophobic so I soaked the entire root ball in a bowl the other day and now I’m just waiting for the best. Is there anything else I can do to help bring him back to life? How long should I wait to fertilize? Is it a lost cause at this point? #GoldenPothos #underwatering #LackOfLight

I just found out my pothos is a golden pothos! I wasn’t the one who purchased this plant, I got it from a family member and the plant was in pretty rough shape, but now that there’s new growth I’m seeing some variegation!! It’s so cool watching this plant come back. Next thing I need to do is find a larger planter for it as it is severely root bound. But yeah there’s a ton of new leaves and vines compared to when I first got it

Got it 2 wk ago, repotted & watered. haven't watered since bc the soil was wet, even though pot has drainage? She got root rot, I cut off rotten roots yesterday, put new soil in, and have left her be since. Is there something else I should be doing? #GoldenPothos

Asking for help again, my golden pothos is drooping and has some yellowing leaves. I just repotted it into some low moisture soil mix (orchid bark, perlite, house plant soil mix) before repotting it the leaves were just turning yellow. After repotting them the leaves have become droopy. The roots all looked good when I repotted (white, long, with secondary stems) so I’m confused on why it would still be struggling. Please help. #NewPlantMom

Bought my golden at the end of February when costas first came back to Walmart for the spring. I repotted her into this terracotta pot with a soil and perlite mixture. After doing so I lost about three or four leaves to what I thought was just a small case of shock due to repotting. Gave it a little while and she still lost a leaf or two even after settling/watering. Went ahead and repotted it into the same pot except with a new soil mix of orchid bark mixture and indoor succulent/cactus type potting mix (high drainage basically). When removing from the old pot the soil was moist but it had no root rot. I also have a “snowy morning” pothos that was in the same mix just in a smaller pot that seemed to be doing fine, just one leaf drop, but I went ahead and repotted it into the new higher drainage mixture as well. What do the lovely Greg experts think could’ve been causing my yellowing leaves?
