Happy Monday 😒 I barely had any sleep last night so I will be going back to bed here soon… but first coffee and succulents! These pictures were from yesterday. Photo 1- Echeveria ‘Artic Ice’ this curvy piece of wisteria wood has been on an old basketball pole in my boyfriends back yard for about 15+ years, we were able to get it off the pole without breaking it and he gave me the idea of putting a pot in it 😄 I love how it looks, I love to collect pieces of wood, rocks, lichen and all types of nature souvenirs 😅 this piece easily has became my new favorite. Photo 2- Echeveria ‘Green Pearl’ is blushing showing off that beautiful pink and green combo 🍬 Photo 3- Graptoveria ‘Moonglow’ has put off lots of babies and they are getting bigger. Echeveria purpusorum dying? I ordered a 6-pack of mini succulents a few weeks ago. I repotted them in succulent mix and have watered once according to Greg's suggestions. Yesterday, I noticed many of the lower leaves are shriveled and black. Any idea what could be wrong with my little plant?

is this a haworthia or an echiveria? it was a generic no name plant from Aldi with virtually no roots. it has come along quite well in 6 months! #Haworthia #echiveria

Succulent leaves pointing upwards? I noticed that Augustine's leaves have started pointing upwards. He's in front of a Southeast window so he gets pretty good sunlight during the morning to noon hours (6am-12pm). Is upward pointing leaves a symptom of too much sun?

It is quite hardy I have had mine for years and sometimes it did not get watered for months but it still managed to survive! When it is healthy it has very pretty dark green leaves with dark purple undersides. I would recommend to have it in indirect sunlight, but rotate the pot now and then so it doesn’t get too leggy. It really does not need much water because if you overwater it, it is prone to rotting.

Leaves frequently will randomly brown until they rot and fall off but as long as water and sunlight are consistent the plant as a whole stays healthy easily. Best to give indirect sunlight but close to a window. One of my other plants I grew from a dead leaf of this one that I recovered to grow a whole new plant!

Large, lush leaves
