📣 Hey #GregGang, happy April! Spring has sprung in the West and I think it's lovely! Now it's time for another #GregGivesBackGiveaway! I have been so busy this year that I haven't had a lot of time to be on Greg lately, but one thing I know: I want to keep it real! Since I've been so busy, some of my plants have suffered. It has been #SurvivalOfTheFittest! If you come visit #SarahsGreeenhouse or #SarahsShower, those plants no longer look like the ones in the pictures. Some look good and are #HappyPlants ... but some don't look so hot and they are clearly #NotSoHappyPlants! Since I'm being real, some are even in the #PlantGraveyard 🪦 😆 I know that some #plantfriends post the PRETTIEST most AMAZING PICTURES of plants. Also, in this age of AI, I've seen a few plants on Greg that look a little sus (as my kiddos would say). 🪴 This month, I want to keep it real! Do you have a picture-perfect plant that's in your oasis ... but now that plant is leaving much to be desired? Let's build each other up and show some honest images of our plants. (: So let's do a #GregVSReality post! Take a screenshot of a plant in your oasis and take a current picture of that same plant. Let's see how much has changed. Don't be ashamed!! It’s FriYay 😁🎉👏 at #TheWateringHole 🌻🪴👩‍🌾!! Come on in! But I’ve been distracted with Day Lilies 🌱🌱🎉. Introducing my newbies! Got inspired here by someone who has fields of tulips 🌷 🌷 🌷 🌷 and other bulbs… can’t remember who it is 🤷‍♀️ … maybe @Ponytailmom or @Idplantthat … plus @DreamMachine Nadia, I’m pretty sure we’ve talked about day lilies too 👍🙌. Got tempted by these barerooted bebes 👶 when purchasing a new orchid grow light from rePotme. I know I didn’t do it it *by the book*📕 but sometimes I have to just throw myself into something! Caution to the wind 💨 lol. This is how I’m rolling! I don’t want to watch a kabillion videos I’m just goin’ in hot! 🤪😜😹🫠 Many succulents were in this garden. I kept the flap jacks, portulacaria elephant bush and some of the aeonium. What was underneath was very sandy and compacted so I amended with planting mix, stuck them in the ground, gave them a big drink & said goodnight 🌙😴. This morning they’re already perkier!! So are you the type that has to go by the book & research before starting 📕 🔬 or do you just have to wing it 🪽 and do what the moment feels like/hope you made a good decision type?? The Amazing ZZ! I had to share this bc it’s really quite incredible!! Today is the first time I’ve watered this ZZ plant since 01.25.25. Yes, you read that correctly and no, it is not a typo!!! The last time I watered this plant was 1 year, 2 months, and 16 days ago!!!! How wild is that!!! Went to a birthday party yesterday for one of my young friends from my artists group and she had these party gifts for us. The pens are very good fine line and she made the cactus herself which is a ceramic refrigerator magnet. I told her she might be able to sell her magnets on line if she likes. What do you think? My candelabra aloe is BLOOMING! I’m so excited 😇 I’ve had succulents and cacti bloom before, but this is the first aloe to bloom for me. And he is one of my most neglected plants 🤣 which succulents do like, so I guess that’s why he’s giving me a flower. I finally bought a Hoya. I couldn’t resist the heart shape. Then I got a baby sun rose because I saw the plant at my friends’s house. Then I went out on Palmstreet and got a Echeveria subcorymbosa lau30 from a guy named A.D. Lovett.
