Wouldn’t it have been a lot cooler if I had posted the photos on my #WhatTheSuccWednesday post? 🤣🤣🤣 Let’s try this again. Only 20 minutes left in the day. Jeez. Today, we have a succulent arrangement I made at work, featuring my coworker’s giant #Echeveria of some kind (I think?), a #SpiderCactus which is hidden by all the clover that is taking over the pot 😂, my #Aloevera and some #GollumJade . It’s so happy in the office window and that echeveria keeps growing! It’s about 7” across now! 😱 Then, we have my #FloristKalanchoe which is finally about to rebloom! Go girl! 🌸🌸🌸 Next, my #Sempervivum enjoying the winter in the living room window My cute new #SnakePlant 🐍 And last but not least, my new Echeveria Neon Breakers from #GregPlantShop. The colors are POPPING under my #Succulent grow lights! 🌈🌈🌈 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #SnakePlantSquad #Kalanchoe #babevila

Please read bottom paragraph! I don’t wanna get in trouble, so please read it! 🪴Ok! Weekly plant ‘recap’! I wanted to start doing this in my social media, then I realized, “what better place to do a weekly plant recap than Greg!” So yeah! I’m gonna do this every Saturday! 🌱New Plant!!! I got a new #tigerjaws from mamaw, I named him RJ/Red Jasper 🌱Peridot got a few new leaves and her baby is getting bigger! #ZebraHaworthiopsis 🌱Ruby was repotted to her sloth pot which we added drainage to! #MoonCactus 🌱We lost Aventurine 😭 #Sempervivum 🌱Citrine is still trying his best to die from rot, but I’m not letting him. He’s still alive, just in the process of drying out. #PincushionCactus #Mammillaria 🌱Pyrite was repotted 3 times because he was sitting *on* the soil and not *in* it #Ferocactus 🪴Overall everyone is doing well as of right now. If I’m breaking some kind of rule with this ‘recap’ (or whatever you wanna call it lol) then please tell me. If I’m not breaking any rules, then I’ll be doing this every Saturday! I found the most gorgeous “golden flame” #SnakePlant at a nursery for only $22. I was so psyched to find it! I don’t live near any nurseries so I drove 74 miles one way to get there, and this plant made it worth it. I also got a #Peperomia “Ruby glow,” a crinkle leaf pillow feet, and some other plants. I’ve been doing some planty chores, which I dearly love, now that spring is coming. The other snake plant was started from a leaf cutting and I just repotted it, which I enjoyed doing. My daffodils are blooming in February for the first time ever! And my #Sempervivum look like they survived winter, like this #Jovibarba roller cluster. I hope they all perk up soon. Spring is coming!!! 🌱 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantsSavedMyMentalHealth

I picked up these little cuties today for just $2aud each! (Approx $1.25usd) I’ve wanted a sempervivum for ages and this guy is just adorable. The sedum was so chunky I couldn’t say no either 😅 I just noticed my avocado seeds have started rooting too! I got home from work at about 9 pm, and there was just enough daylight left to look at my plants, which is what I typically do when I get home. I need the good vibes after working 12 hours. I just wanted to pop in and share my #Sempervivum ! I haven’t been on Greg as much lately because my life is *crazy* busy, but the plant love continues nonetheless! This past weekend I made a 4 hour journey to Groovy Plants Ranch in Ohio, and it was a plant lover’s paradise! There was nothing here not long ago—I recently started this hardy succulent garden behind my greenhouse, where the rain doesn’t really reach. I’m planning to fill it in with rocks and let the sempervivums fill it up. It’s a great place to store the fossils I find here in Kentucky. More pictures from Duke Gardens, except these are for the #SucculentSquad ! 🌿👏🏻☀️ some GORGEOUS ice plants, the flowers looked so bright and almost metallic with the sun shining on the petals 🤩🌺 some cool #Sempervivum And then the BIGGEST #CenturyPlant I’ve ever seen!! It’s absolutely huge in person. I saw it last year, wasn’t sure if it was able to survive during winter, well apparently it’s hardy to this zone, or atleast this one is. Last fall I put TuffBoi, Porch Baby, and River Song outside and said "adapt or die!" They had a pretty rough go of it for a while but in the end they did adapt. They still struggle if I forget to rotate them often enough and occasionally we deal with buggies... (River has also recently gotten pretty crispy looking but I'm hoping she'll get better once we hit rainy season...) Anyhow, I've basically given up on the "scale babies" and decided they can also either adapt or die. Hoping for "adapt" but we'll see... They're several feet away from the others so hopefully if there are any bugs left on them (I don't think there are but idk) it will be alright... Also I just thought my chick n hens (no name yet) would be happier out there than in my living room where it gets zero direct light...
