so Greg is telling me the plant that I repotted and thought was a tree and still think is a tree, they are saying it is spearmint? We got our heat-reflective sun tarps up, so I’ve been moving things in and out of the garage all day. So excited to see my greenhouse in a happier place! I’m sure, like so many of us, we are trying to counter all this crazy weather. It’s been so unpredictable; we’ve gone from a couple of days into the 80’s to freezing again! Which isn’t uncommon for Utah weather… but omg my poor plants. 🌱 😂 So we got smart and put a heat-reflecting greenhouse tarp over the roof. I can’t believe how much it lowers the heat! So happy to have done it. Potted up all my late winter cuttings so that they’ll be well-established in time for the craft sale in July! ☀️ After giving a few to my students, there should be about 75 left to sell 🪴 My first try at “mass” propagation (kind of a small “mass” 😂) I’m not sure I’ll do it again, but it has been pretty fun. I was thinking of throwing pots to sell them in, but 75 sounds like way too many to me 😳 So I’m thinking about sewing some bags or something quicker to put them in.
