Hello everyone, I had a wonderful day yesterday and my birthday. We went down to Tarpon Springs for dinner and then went out to Anclote key, which is one of my favorite places. Anclote Key is located 4 miles offshore in the Gulf from Tarpon Springs, Florida and is only accessible by boat. #TheWateringHole Hello All, and Good Afternoon, I have been feeling rather lackadaisical these past few weeks. It seems that my “Get Up And Go”, got up and left? I keep telling myself that I should be doing this, that, and the other but I cannot seem to get anyof it done! Oh well, tomorrow is another day! I did manage to get the plants watered, those that needed watering. So today there are 20 more asking for attention/water. And I did find a new bloom on the Rebutia Albipilosa, did you know that cacti need much more water when they are blooming, or to get them to flower. But the line between a bit more water and overwatering is very fine! And the correct balance is crucial. On my walk yesterday I saw these blooming Frangipani, it had just stopped raining and the colors looked so intense I had to take pictures. Of course I couldn’t overlook the BoP. And I don’t know who that little yellow flower belongs to, but it looked so perfect with the water droplets I just had to post it. Please keep in mind that these aren’t mine and they live outside by the parking lot. Hello everyone, I hope you and your plants are growing well. I spent several hours, this morning, gardening working with my plants pruning, watering, mowing. The heat index is up to 108 With an actual temperature of 96°. That’s enough to drive me back into the house for a while. For sometime, I’ve been keeping my, smaller, cactus on my walkway. This was to save them from dying in a sudden rain storm if I’m not home to bring them in. I’ve lost several cactus too much water. I’ve decided to reinstate one of my old greenhouse tents.
