My Green Congo Nuclear has its new home. Super stoked! I love the variagation on this plant and it has a yellow sport leaf with white variagation on it! I don't think you can see it well from the pic but the white splotches are there. And a half moon leaf beside it. Got some new little buddies today! I was laughing. I ordered a black Babylon hoya, and I got a second as a mystery plant on the same day! Ha ha 🤣 🤦‍♀️ Well, who knows? It was all quiet on the home front tonight cuz hubby is sick and dogs are in their beds! I bought a fairy or terrarium pack of 6 when I bought some other plants from Etsy. They got here a few days ago. They are so cute and so tiny!!. I finally potted them late this evening while it was quiet. Now I’m tired and I have work tomorrow. Everything looks pretty 👍🏻, let’s hope they all grow!! Can I interest you in another #hoya bloom? The Mathilde is doing me proud. And it it is so beautiful on its trellis that I couldn't even decide which pictures to post. Other than that there are lacunosa blooms everywhere, the Viola preparing as well, the bella is just.... indescribable and the sp. aff. burtoniae is covered in peduncles. Caramel goodness incoming. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #hoyahangout

It’s Monday, almost time for dog walk🐕🐾 & dinner 🍽️ here! Just wanted to share a new flower spike on my anthurium bakeri. It will turn bright red and then form fat seeds all along the top of the spike🌱. Last pic is the post-sulfur treatment of the batch of FB Marketplace Hoyas I got from a local gal. The day I brought them home 🏡 I showered 🚿 them & sprayed with insecticidal soap. Never did I consider flat mites. I’ve got many Hoyas and never battled flat mites. Guess if you collect them long enough it’s bound to happen. I’m definitely looking into beneficials with help from our resident beneficial bug expert Nadia @DreamMachine 🏆🙌 for post sulfur maintenance 👩‍🔧. How was your Monday? It’s probably a short work week for many with 4th of July this weekend 🇺🇸🎆🧨🎇🇺🇸. While hiking, I discovered this. It is a part of a Bald Cypress in a remote cypress preserve. #TheWateringHole Happy Monday to everyone at the #TheWateringHole! Hope everyone had a nice weekend with their plant oasis! We’re getting a lot of rain here, which we desperately needed. I managed to avoid having to water the outdoor flowers. Speaking of outdoor flowers, I snapped a few pics of our hosta blooms and one of our outdoor planters yesterday afternoon, but never got around to posting. The last picture is my new baby pitcher plant my stepdaughter had shipped to me. She let my hubby know she was sending a plant, but didn’t let me know what it was, so it was a #PlantMail surprise! Now I just have to study up on how to keep it alive. It’s sitting out on my front porch for now. Any tips appreciated! What’s happening at your oasis? Any new blooms, leaves, plants, pets? New growth!!! After my monstera sadly broke during a repot I was terrified that she was not going to come back. But all 4 parts are showing new amazing growth!! My crown of thorns plant is also blossoming and my white wizard philodendron is also showing some new leaves!
