5 months ago I moved to a new home, and had to cut my plant collection from over 100 to just 15 of my most favourites to take with me. 😭 but since then I’ve been working on building it back up and finding ways to incorporate more plants in our home. I’m nowhere near done and many of these corners still need a lot of work. Herb’s delivery! I want a little herb wild. 🤪 🌿🌬️ She had some of my favorites in stock, so I had to get them. I wasn’t expecting them to arrive so quickly. So now I’m anxiously awaiting the other mix now. Ugh, this is why people say: plan ahead..🧐🤨. Ain’t foresight just beautiful? 🤦‍♀️😂😅 Live and learn, but please just live, you little herby dudes! Anyone else been getting their herb on? I gotta say, herbs are so much harder for me to do, but only in the winter. And all winter. 🥶 😅 It’s like cinnamon and lavender. Here is my Old Man cactus. It’s often the first cactus that people purchase for their collection. It was one of my first. I bought several together and put them in the same pot. Hello, Here is my Dragon’s Breath plant I just put it out in full sun that 8+ hours of the blazing Florida sun ☀️. She seems to really like it, so far. I am keeping a close eye on her. So some jealous Karen neighbors out where I stay out called the fire marshal and complained about my plants on the balcony I now I have to bring in all my plants. They can't be outside. The fire marshal said it was a fire hazard and somebody might trip. 🤦‍♀️. My plants have been sitting on that balcony in the summer for 2 years. Never any complaints. I had to bring in 30 plants. So of course I had to order another grow light 🙄. Not too sure about the placement. I feel like just the front ones are getting light. It finally came! Well, one part; the last part of my soil mix. Still waiting on the hydroguard… ugh… 😩 Why is it taking so long? 🙃🐌🩵🌸 In the meantime, I have finally finished repotting 72 plants and more to go… but I gotta take a little break. I got sweet pea flowers; I love the smell of sweet pea flowers. While they are super toxic to our furry friends, my dogs and cats have shown zero interest. Thank goodness! 😅 We now have sweet pea photos! Anyone growing sweet peas or anything else that smells so yummy and delicious? 😋 Ps- I’m so anxious today 😬 I’m supposed to have my soil delivery and my last thing I need for my water before I water my plants tonight. Hello everyone. Here is my Prickly Pear Cactus. It was very small with only a single “patty “ when I discovered it growing in the back of my property. That was about four years ago. While mowing I almost ran it over. I stopped, got a pot out of my garage and put it in a small pot then successively larger pots. It has grow so much . It’s now in the biggest pot I can find and outgrowing that.
