I’m a new Alocasia Polly owner- I noticed she was starting to droop so I watered her 2 days ago thinking she was thirsty. She is even more droopy now. Her soil feels dry. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, any suggestions? Good Evening, I love coming home to things like this- so I thought I’d share. Major progress on the Mint monstera. I’m 2 treatments into the Captain Jacks copper fungicide treatment and it seems to be working great. I was very unimpressed with the state of the this plant , but now I am happy. Yesterday I had to repot my Snake plant. It got so big it was coming up out of the pot. I always take the old soil and put it in a tree or bush out in the yard. My husband found this little guy deep down in the pot. He had to be at the bottom of the 12 inch pot because I was all up in that pot and did not see him. Thought I’d share a few little buddies! The first two Hoyas are some new buddies: Hoya bird of paradise and a Hoya Meredithii (Gunung Kapi), the other a purple-vein alocasia; and then my little cute Dino anthurium had a beautiful companion pop up. I just wanted to brag a bit on behalf of my aloe plant. He really is “The Little Plant That Could”. I purchased him as a mature plant 2 years ago. 1.5 years ago, my parents 1 year old Great Pyrenees puppy destroyed him to the point I really thought he went to plant Heaven. I put what was left back in the pot and put him in the dark laundry room. (It was winter. I’m in Northern Indiana. That room gets quite cold.) After a few weeks, I noticed growth! Forward to today, and look how happy he is. I should probably transplant some of the babies though. Omg 🙈 my family got home at 3 a.m. this morning, and my niece was calling me at 9 a.m. to come get her so she could come steal my plants. 😂✨ She’s too cute! 🥰 Anyway, had to share my buddies I’ve been working on the last couple of days. It’s a little wild, but I was out working, and then all of a sudden they changed, and it was hailing. Herb’s delivery! I want a little herb wild. 🤪 🌿🌬️ She had some of my favorites in stock, so I had to get them. I wasn’t expecting them to arrive so quickly. So now I’m anxiously awaiting the other mix now. Ugh, this is why people say: plan ahead..🧐🤨. Ain’t foresight just beautiful? 🤦‍♀️😂😅 Live and learn, but please just live, you little herby dudes! Anyone else been getting their herb on? I gotta say, herbs are so much harder for me to do, but only in the winter. And all winter. 🥶 😅 It’s like cinnamon and lavender. It finally came! Well, one part; the last part of my soil mix. I got sweet pea flowers; I love the smell of sweet pea flowers. While they are super toxic to our furry friends, my dogs and cats have shown zero interest. Thank goodness! 😅 We now have sweet pea photos! Anyone growing sweet peas or anything else that smells so yummy and delicious? 😋 Ps- I’m so anxious today 😬 I’m supposed to have my soil delivery and my last thing I need for my water before I water my plants tonight. Ted was so convinced that we were making coffee when I brought out one of our coffee trees; this is a propagation dwarf coffee plant for a friend. But Ted loves to help me make the coffee. He samples all the sweet stuff and sometimes things he gets a bean and spits it out. But Teddy loves to help.
