Roots growing UP?! Last week I took a couple of stems from my Pink Princess Philo, and put them in water, hoping for new roots. Chamging the water, the new roots caught my eye. I did not know these guys roots- grow UPwards!! My VFT bloomed and the flowers went to seed. I repotted my plant and using the old, smaller pot to propagate the seeds. Do I treat the seeds the same as the plant? Any tips for a successful plant? #HappyPlants

It’s Saturday afternoon and despite the forecast of grey clouds ☁️ all day, we’ve got some sunshine ☀️! The last few days were hectic so happy to just hang out today, water some of the 40 waiting for 💦, get some laundry 🧺 done and watch a little baseball ⚾️ 😄. Had to show off my tricolor wayetii who is back in full bloom, again! She gets the award 🏆🥇for blooming. Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a great day and you and your plants are growing. I visited the county master gardeners’s nursery this morning. I bought another giant plum ginger and a passion vine. I am going to start building a couple of these tables for my plants. I thought I would share it here. Here’s what they use in their nursery, two by fours and hardware cloth which is quarter inch chicken wire supported by cinder blocks. The dimensions are 8 foot long by 22 inches wide .
