Hi all, so this Ponytail is about 7 years old. He’s been in this 19” pot for almost 3 years. He’s outdoors except for winter. Hes 47” tall. I’m wondering if it’s time to repot. The ends are so long I run them over with the dolly it’s sitting on, and the soil has shrunk about 2 inches. This guy weighs a ton and it took 2 of us to repot it 3 yrs ago. Hi everyone. It was a little over 1 year ago that I came on here to ask a favor, and I am back tonight asking that same favor. The past 2 days have rained and poured, and the Texas Hill country is once again flooded/ing. My son is the Superintendent at Guadalupe State Park, and acting Super at Pedernales State Park. The flooding at Guadalupe has exceeded the levels of last years flooding, which was 31.4 feet. Many people have been evacuated. I would like to ask that everyone keep these people in their prayers. I know there are some on Greg from surrounding areas, and if you’re in the path of this…please be careful and safe. I’m 2 hours north of my son and we aren’t flooding- just really really soggy. #TheWateringHole Happy Monday to everyone at the #TheWateringHole! Hope everyone had a nice weekend with their plant oasis! We’re getting a lot of rain here, which we desperately needed. I managed to avoid having to water the outdoor flowers. Speaking of outdoor flowers, I snapped a few pics of our hosta blooms and one of our outdoor planters yesterday afternoon, but never got around to posting. The last picture is my new baby pitcher plant my stepdaughter had shipped to me. She let my hubby know she was sending a plant, but didn’t let me know what it was, so it was a #PlantMail surprise! Now I just have to study up on how to keep it alive. It’s sitting out on my front porch for now. Any tips appreciated! What’s happening at your oasis? Any new blooms, leaves, plants, pets? Roots growing UP?! Last week I took a couple of stems from my Pink Princess Philo, and put them in water, hoping for new roots. Chamging the water, the new roots caught my eye. I did not know these guys roots- grow UPwards!!
