How to fertilize Florida Red Ruffle Caladium
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Florida Red Ruffle Caladium after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

So this is Daphne my Florida red ruffle caladium and I bought her from Lowe’s back in May which is when I fell in love with plants and flowers and wanted to see if I had a green thumb. Well u can tell which picture sis what she looked like when I purchased her and what she looks like now. Obviously I was doing something wrong cause she just kept losing her leaves and some would turn brown. But I feel like I kept the watering and the sun consistent but then a couple fellow Greg app users Let me know that I should’ve moved her to a smaller pot when she started losing leaves. So that could’ve been part of the problem. So I moved her to a smaller pot again and now look at her!!! She starting over fresh!! SHE HAS FOUR BRAND NEW BABY LEAVES AND IM SO EXCITED!! So she must be pretty happy and content with her current environment, wateringwaterigs and grow light😁 anyways I just wanted to share my excitement! Have a great day!

So this is Daphne, my Florida Red Ruffle Caladium and she wasn’t very happy, she was wilting and browning and leaves were drying out, I didn’t over water or under water and I thought she was getting just the right amount of sun but I was having to cut her leaves off. Well I repotted her and put her under a grow light and now she’s sprouting 3 new baby leaves and her leaves are healthy and I’m so excited I just had to share!! This is her now!!!

Leafs are Browning and dying Why is the leafs on my red ruffle caladium browning on the edges? I’ve had to cut two off already. I water her like the app suggests, I recently moved her into a bigger pot and I give her indirect sunlight. I put plant food sticks in her soil but I took them out thinking that was the problem. HELP ME PLEASE!

Almost down to one leaf 🥺 Hello! I am new to the #GregGang and would love and appreciate any advice for my Heart of Jesus. Ever since i got her from Walmart she has been struggling! This is her today, it’s last leaf looks like it’s about to die 😞 there’s a new leaf coming in and i would like all the tips for keeping this new leaf alive and thriving! She was being eaten alive when i first got her but she was still super vibrant with lots of leaves. Then she was accidentally sun burnt and then went though a spider mite infestation 😭 the spider mites took the last of her leaves. Shes been repotted to a smaller pot and has a mixture of regular well draining soil, orchid bark mix, perlite and a little of cactus mixture. I’m hoping this new leaf will turn her around 🥲 #Caladium #HeartOfJesus
