Losing spikes on my cactus! Sentimental about my golden rat tail cactus it seems to be losing its spikes in some areas (see photos) and leaving bald patches. For those who have one or know well about rat tail cacti - please help! :) also any tips on how often to water / fertilizing and during this season and what exactly the white softer tips mean? would be amazing!!

Rats tail cactus withering? Hello fellow plant lovers! Semi new plant mom here. I bought this beauty about a month ago and some of the um..leaves? Vines? Not sure what to call them..seem to be withering. I’ve watered once since I picked him up. He sits on a sunny window sill. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

This is the beginnings of a hanging cactus. The bristles aren’t sharp at all (pet in a downward motion) and seems pretty hardy thus far

its just heckin awesome man just do it, jighly recommend switching to a mist bottle of succulents discourage you. if you get a tiny one your hand will hurt before you can even doubt if you over or under watered (-:
