Good morning!
Hi, I'm just wondering what grow lights should I buy for my succulents? And what would you recommend? That's all, thanks! #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #propagationstation #succulentlove #planttherapy #growlights
Wattage and ppfd is going to depend on how close these grow lights will be to the plants.
If you have a south windowsill or window that will work too as succulents generally like quite a bit of light.
Me personally, I have most of my succulents on a south windowsill here in Michigan; some of them are under 30 watt sansi bulbs about a foot away. Both set ups work very well for me

@SmoothHope66 I have a couplenof Sansi lights of different wattages on my plants. Good lights. As said what lights you need are dependent on plants and distance.
@SmoothHope66 I have my windows pointing east, for around 25 mini plants how many lights would you recommend for all?
@izzyandsugar east windows are good for most plants as it gets gentle morning sun but not the blazing heat of the afternoon. For succulents in the summer thatβs probably adequate but as the season changes and the days get shorter youβll want some supplemental light. You could do a couple 10 watt lights about 8 inches above the plants to supplement, or a 24-30 watt positioned 12 inches above them.
Depends how much square footage the plants take up. Iβd do one 10 watt per square foot
