@BeeBalm so exciting
@sarahsalith Seems we got the notification working again 👌🏼
@PleaseLeaf Whoa that leaf is really cool. does it stay that purple?
@GaryPoopins why thank you🥰🥰
Yay, thank you for the shoutout on behalf of my calatheas🤗 They deserve it for being so kind to me😂🪴💚 Here are some more with #newgrowth🌱
@PleaseLeaf woah I've never seen a leaf like that before!! So great!!
@MockingJay I didn't even know calatheas could have pink like that!! This makes me want one so much more now haha

@CozyCaucalis there are so many different beautiful calatheas🤩 The pink usually appear most on juvenile plants, but you can force it by stressing it just right with lesser light on some types😅🪴
@MockingJay that is so good to know!! Definitely gonna look into getting one now. Something about pink leaves on a plant just makes me so happy 🥲💕
@MusicalRedmint Wow, So cool 😎! I wish Orchids would love me as much as I love 🥰 them. Sadly that is not the case!
Thanks @RJG and everyone else who shared ! Everything was awesome. You should all be proud of the beauty you achieved .
#FreshLeafFriday #FreshFeaturedFriday #GregGang #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants Happy Friday ya’ll. Last week’s posts were beautiful and I’m confident that this week will even be better! I have just a few plants with new growth: first there’s the Philodendron Silver Sword (fairly new to the Oasis) but trying to get ready unfurl a new leaf. The Cornstalk Dracaena has been with me for a while, but that bright green gets me every time I look at it. Then there’s the Sansevieria Moonshine pushing out new leaves. As is the Sansevieria Sayuri with a little pup. The last one is the recently acquired Fiddle Leaf Fig, it’s still a young plant and I’m hoping that I can keep it alive and thriving 🤞🤞. That’s it for now! Enjoy your weekend everyone take care and stay safe!
Happy #FreshLeafFriday to all! Lots of new growth on begonia, a blossom on anthurium bakerii, pretty color on Nanouk and outside a brilliant yellow iris! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth
@Ms.Persnickety I wish that about more or less every other plant, so that evens it out, I guess. Why not give it another chance? I really am not gifted with flowers and find phals manageable 😉
Five fresh new plants today (3rd pic), incl. Mammillaria gracilis fragilis, Euphorbia tithymaloides var., Rhombophyllum dolabriforme, Alluadia procera (false Ocotillo), and Euphorbia flanganii (Medusa).
A super pink baby leaf on the Aglaonema (pic 1).
A topside view of Medusa (2), just because I think it looks cool. And the latest fresh flowers from outside.

@KindOfABigDill That is very impressive what did you do to get it to bear fruit?
@MusicalRedmint Might be worth a try! I would have to think about it, but thanks for the encouragement!
@RJG they get so dark they're basically black! It has black and green leaves, green leaves, but mostly black leaves. It's trying to figure out its multiple personalities. It was doing some weird stuff which is why I bought it...this leaf specifically though 😂
I bought three Desert Rose plants a few months ago. Two of the three lost all their leaves immediately after repotting and moving them to new locations in my yard. I moved them next to the one that wasn’t stressed and they have finally (almost 5 weeks later) decided to grow new leaves ❤️ #NewGrowth #FreshLeafFriday
It’s just one little leaf but I am super happy about it. This is my very first time propagating corms and the results are so satisfying 🌱🥰🙌🏽 #AlocasiaFrydek
Two of my plants bloomed for the first time ever…in the same week! #LifesaverCactus #Hoya #KrimsonPrincessHoya
@KindOfABigDill that’s awesome. I need to repot my fig. It’s still too small to grow fruit. Hopefully yours will be ready to eat soon.
#Freshleaffriday is up! Homelomena sea turtle, philodendron Birkin, philo verrucosum, and philo summer glory all have beautiful new leaves. And my tall, beautiful climbing aloe, Addy, just gave me two pups! #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict
Another for #freshleaffriday. Philodendron lemon lime, calcium, philo white princess, peperomia Ecuador. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #philodendron #philodendronbirkin #peperomia
Last #freshleaffriday entry. Diffenbachia senguine in water and finally producing new growth. Flame violet produced copious amounts of leaves and flowers, syngonium wendlandii being gorgeous, and new babies for painted echevaria.
@UltraKoreanfir that is pretty!
Even in addition to being over the moon about the plant swap from @BabeVila, I am so behind on pics of all the #newgrowth in my jungle! Here are two I'm most excited about, because I almost lost both plants to root rot. My #philodendron Ring of Fire has put up a second new leaf and got rewarded with soil 😂 And the new leaf is a gorgeous half-moon 🤩
And my #philodendrontortum has put up it's first new leaf!!! It's taken FOREVER to recover and now it's sooooo happy! 😍

@SirLiquorice wow🤩 just wow🤩🌸🌼🌵
@Ms.Persnickety thank you!!! But nothing out of the ordinary! I fertilize with every other watering with the growing season, and use earthworm castings a few times a year. The change this year compared to the previous is that I was able to give her 5-6 hours of sun, compared to the previous years of 3-4 hours. She’s a container fig tree because I’m a plant enthusiast from an apartment on the outskirts of a busy city and don’t have a yard. But so grateful that she’s finally happy enough to produce fruit.
@SirLiquorice thank you! Do you have experience with fig tree? I didnt expect mine to fruit so soon, and I wanted to repot him, but held off once fruit started growing.
Happy #FreshLeafFriday y’all!! Absolutely love the features this week! @bear_100 still can’t get over your Jacklyn!🤩 and @GreenIvy3 Phantom is freaking gorgeous!!
Here are a few of my babies with new leaves that unfurled or are currently unfurling this week! I’ve got tons in the works, but these are the only ones currently showing their new pretty faces this week💚🤗🌿 I love seeing everyone’s #NewGrowth!
Keep it planty, y’all!🌿🫶🏻🪴

Found my last ones for #freshleaffriday. Hoya crassopetiolata, philodendron Congo rojo, Farfugium japonica, Japonica fatsia, and philodendron Burle Marx. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict
@KindOfABigDill I’ve only had one baby fig tree for a few months or so. Haven’t had any fruit but I need to repot it. Says it may fruit within a year but this also may be a smaller variety
@MariansOasis I am impressed with Nanouk, such a pretty combination of colors!
@TopMonoceritos I really like desert rose plants, love how resilient they are. Mine has pink flowers.
@SirLiquorice Wow!🤩 you keep showing out with those gorgeous blooms!
@AmusingRedhill Thank you! Love your tricolor 🌱🥰
@RJG I’m late but I just found this on a rescue fern that I almost gave up all hope of surviving and now #FreshLeafFriday and #FreshFeaturedFriday
@Snapdragon beautiful blossoms 🥰😍!!
Gorgeous!! 🥰🥰 That Jacklyn is lovely... And the white fusion is 😍!! Im after a roseopicta rosy myself!! Lol (my old cat is called Rosy lol) and an Alocasia Frydek is also on my wishlist... I BLEW my plant budget for this month within 2 days this month! Lmao... So I am also having to "wait" for more... Except I'm going to a plant swap this afternoon and know a friend is coming with a boxful of plants and starts for me! Hahaha 🤣
Great pictures guys! 🥰 X

@MockingJay so I see you out rock on the top of the soil. Is this a calathea thing? #newplantparent
@Samantha_Rae not really rocks in my case, but I know some use them claiming they help containing water or something 🤔
I mix a peat-soil with some gravel and crushed leca for most of my calatheas. But I guess you are refering to the Dottie? She have been struggeling a bit so I had to try something different for her. She is standing in pon, which is similar to leca. Having her in a transparent "pot" to try to keep an eye on her roots😅
(It comes to mind I actually have quite a few of them in pon at the moment🙈 It seems to work fine I think😅 but I am not completly sold yet😆).

@Snapdragon That Candelabra cactus must really be enjoying the cute pot he’s in 😂🤣🥰🤩
@Ms.Persnickety is candelabra cactus another name for the lifesaver cactus? Since it blooms a “lifesaver” so rarely, I think it should be known by another name.
@KindOfABigDill I have more questions about your fig tree, hope you don’t mind. How long have you had it, and how old was the tree when you got it and how old is it now? It looks like you have a balcony is that were you keep the tree? TIA
@Ms.Persnickety I’ve had it for just over two years. Bought it as a cutting, and not sure how old it was when it was cut. Yes, The tree is growing in a large container on my balcony. The first year I was on a ground level apartment and although it got bright light on the balcony it had less than 4 hours of direct light. This year (about 2.5 months ago) I am now on a third floor open sky deck. She still gets only about 5 hours of direct light and then open NE sky the rest of the day. I fertilize with worm castings each season and miracle grow plant food every month.
@SirLiquorice wow lots of beauties there!
