📣 Hey #GregGang, happy April! Spring has sprung in the West and I think it's lovely! Now it's time for another #GregGivesBackGiveaway! I have been so busy this year that I haven't had a lot of time to be on Greg lately, but one thing I know: I want to keep it real! Since I've been so busy, some of my plants have suffered. It has been #SurvivalOfTheFittest! If you come visit #SarahsGreeenhouse or #SarahsShower, those plants no longer look like the ones in the pictures. Some look good and are #HappyPlants ... but some don't look so hot and they are clearly #NotSoHappyPlants! Since I'm being real, some are even in the #PlantGraveyard 🪦 😆 I know that some #plantfriends post the PRETTIEST most AMAZING PICTURES of plants. Also, in this age of AI, I've seen a few plants on Greg that look a little sus (as my kiddos would say). 🪴 This month, I want to keep it real! Do you have a picture-perfect plant that's in your oasis ... but now that plant is leaving much to be desired? Let's build each other up and show some honest images of our plants. (: So let's do a #GregVSReality post! Take a screenshot of a plant in your oasis and take a current picture of that same plant. Let's see how much has changed. Don't be ashamed!! This is real life! 🌿HOW TO ENTER: Post at least two photos of a #GregVSReality plant from your oasis. Sorta like #BeforeAndAfter #PlantFriendsAreTheBestFriends so be sure to tag some #GregFriends so they know to enter as well! Don't know anyone? FriYay!! Almost the weekend #TheWateringHole gang 🎉!! Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all gather and chat plants 🪴!?! A Happy Plantie Hour! 🌺🍃🪴 Super excited to see 4 🎉 pedunkiedunks on Hoya compacta! This guy was banished to the great outdoors a few years back. Thought for sure the mealies would do him in. Evidently he’s found a simpatico world 🌎 out there because he’s doing fine and producing flowers 🌼🐞🕷️. Next up another outside plant but Mr Rhipsalis has always been outside. Just didn’t know for the first few years what he really wanted, oops 😬. And that was to NOT be in strong sun ☀️!! Great shaded spot 🥹 next to the front door. Much happier rhipsalis now. Next is Max the Maxillaria tenuifolia. I love the way the sun hits his fatty fat pseudo bulbs 💚💛. He’s definitely not 💯 perfect, but I forgive myself for that 🫣, thank you very much @DreamMachine 🤭 and love him, imperfections and all!! Last up teeny tiny succulents babies! Fall where they may under momma plants and watch them grow! 💚. Let’s see what’s happening with you and your plants! It's been a while since I was on the platform, and did a #freshleaffriday. 1. I bought a new #monsteradeliciosa, a couple of months ago, and separated it, putting the larger plant with my existing Deliciosa and this smaller one on its on. It now has a new leaf with fenestrations. 2. Some time ago my #alocasiawentii fell and snapped off from the root ball, leaving a node. I planted the leaf stem in sphagnum moss and it's now producing a new leaf. 3. My #sansevieriamasoniana, doesn't get much attention, I only noticed this new leaf because one of the kids had dropped something in the in pot. 4. The #zzplant gets even less attention. I'll post a full reveal when it's ready for its close up. 5. #alocasiablackvelvet has had it's ups and downs. So I'm pleased to see this guy pushing through. #alocasiaaddicts #monstera #sansevieria

I can't believe I missed #freshleaffriday!! Most of my babies are exploding with new growth, which is exciting to see, but I was most shocked with my first ZZ! I noticed some new growth on her about a week and a half ago, and the shoot is roughly 16" now!
