Aloe isn’t looking good
My #AloeVera looks like it’s dying. One of the leaves is sort of transparent brown, and on of the newer leaves is starting to turn too. What should I do? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #help

@PlantosaurusRex @izzyandsugar @newgreenie This aloe actually looks a bit underwatered to me. Plantosaurus—what kind of climate do you live in? For such a baby aloe, once a month watering seems like an awfully long time to go unless you live in a very humid or tropical environment. I would recommend watering once your soil is bone dry. If it takes longer than 2 weeks for the soil to become bone dry than you might need to add more amendments, like perlite, to your mix. Give this baby a drink of water and let me know how they look in a couple days?
Hmm. Looks like it might need some more light and a bit of plant food due to the color loss. I would also plant it in a succulent soil, not the ones you find at Walmart, because there's still too much actual dirt in them. Amazon has a brand that I LOVE and all of my succulents are thriving in, including my aloe. I'll link it below!

I totally agree, it looks over watered how often are you giving it water, and how much sunlight does it get a day? And do not rip out the "bad leaves" until they are fully dry and crunchy. If you rip them out now, you can harm the plant.
It's okay if your aloe doesn't have many leaves! They all grow differently and you just have a baby aloe too, so PLEASE do not rip out the leaves and use them until it has more, like about 2 or 3 layers! #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantadicct #newgrowth #propagationstation #succulentlove #planttherapy
