I thought these monstera limbs were gone n rotting then I noticed it getting roots and the roots getting roots too! π or π₯Ί.
Not quite knowing how to feel about the darker rings that look like rot? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance ππ½π«ΆπΎ

@Preciousplants1 my pleasure Sherri βΊοΈ Those roots look very promising! I hope you have a lovely day π₯°π«Ά
Iβm no @SuperbRaspfern π but that looks pretty healthy to me! When a cut edge of a stem is exposed to air, it oxidizes and can naturally turn a little dark brown or black (like when a cut apple turns brown, you know?). As long as the whole area of the stem itself isnβt mushy, it doesnβt look like rot to me!
@DreamMachine Gm Nadia thank you so much for answering. I didnβt think about it like that.but you are absolutely right ππ½. I changed the π¦ water. So that must have been the exposure that has then a little brown. I appreciate your help. ππ½blessings β€οΈ
@DreamMachine sorry for the delay in answering. thank you Nadia; itβs got busy very quickly and Iβm just getting to take a break .

@Preciousplants1 oh you are a dear π₯° No need to apologize! I always assume everyone has stuff going on in their real world too π and I, for one, am easily distractible π
And hooray! Hope is beautiful thing. ποΈ If not instead of trials and tribulations, but BECAUSE of them β₯οΈ
